Nice car, decent price I recently bought my certified 2012 Toyota Highlander from this dealership. After usual initial negotiation, we agreed to a decent price. However, the I recently bought my certified 2012 Toyota Highlander from this dealership. After usual initial negotiation, we agreed to a decent price. However, the day I went to pick up my car, they put an extra $200 for VIN etching, they even told me its mandatory in NJ, they lied, its NOT mandatory. I came home and checked my car windows, VIN is not even etched there, total rip off, I am gonna ask for refund of my $200. Also, While looking at the car the first time, I noticed a small crack on fog light cover and the Rep told me they will replace it. The day I picked up my car, the crack was still there. The guy assured me when I pick up the registration and plates, he will get it done the same day. So far, no update from them. Otherwise, I got a good car at a fair price. My advise is be very cautious, they will try to put extra charges like VIN etching. And make sure any small fix needed in the car, get it done before you give them the cheque. [Update on 7/15]: They do care about reviews. I got a call from parkway Toyota 4 days after posting this review and they sorted the matter for me. I will definitely go back for my next purchase, with confidence that if something goes wrong, it will be taken care. Still awaiting the Fog loght cover though. More
