This review is based on my few visits at Park Ave BMW service center. After the last one when they absolutely stunned me in positive way with quality of the service I decided to finally do something for service center. To be honest… I should do it long time ago since every time I came to this place their service from a very simple thing to this recent major repair was more than I could ask for. Long story short… My car is still under warranty. Because I wanted to save some money on little cosmetic upgrade for my car I decided to give it to my friend so he could do it in his repair shop. In the process of “helping me out” someone basically damaged entire active steering rack. I didn’t know about it until two weeks later when active steering light malfunction light came on and I had to leave my car at Park Ave BMW. Next day I got the phone call from Eric, who is by the way really great guy. (It wasn’t my first time dealing with him. He already took care of my “missing wheel lock key problem". I have to admit …very quickly and without any issues. Within 2 days I had my key in mail box.) Going back to the main topic… BAD news… major, time consuming repair and can’t be done under warranty. Cost of parts alone will be in range of $4000. I had to sit down after I heard that… Without going into more details and keeping this story short. Since Eric was taking the next day off he introduced me to David (service director). I couldn’t ask for more helpful, professional and knowledgeable person. After short conversation I could tell that his most important goal in the end of this entire mess with my car was to keep me happy at all cost. That’s exactly what he did. Few minutes and phone calls later he totally turned this entire situation in my favor. Not only I didn’t have to pay for the parts but he offered me a discount on extended maintenance warranty plan which in the future I wanted to purchase anyway. Meanwhile Eric (he suppose to have a day off), canceled his personal plans, showed up at work and took care of this deal for me so I could get my car back as soon as it’s possible. Car was ready within few days and thanks to David in the end I saved a lot of money. I mean… who does this kind of stuff in this day and age???!!! You can’t ask for more than that from any car dealership. Honest, very helpful and friendly staff. This is by far the best BMW service center out there. Their only objective is to make sure you will leave completely satisfied and you and your car will receive royal treatment. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves her/his BMW and is looking for out of this world, unbelievable car service experience. If there is any car dealership that would like to learn how to turn regular customer into life time customer should go to Park Ave BMW service center and learn few lessons from them. Even when dealing with that devision it is important to have a knowledgeable and professional sales person to deal with in finalizing the sales.Currently have an S5, an E500, and now the Z4. Of the 3 dealer ships visited, Prestige, Paul Miller, and Park Avenue, PA was the most responsive. I could not even get return calls or emails answered by Prestige nor Paul Miller. When visiting their show room I was helped by a non experienced and in one case a condescending person When dealing in an high end car with probably a mostly professional customer base it is important that the sales person can meet the level of sophistication of the customer. Brad is a very courteous young man who acted very professional and represented the interests of BMW and us to find in the end a win - win deal.
