I had been in contact with Jeff before so I e-mailed him when my 2016 lease was about to go over the mileage. I also explained that It would be helpful to send numbers and car info via e-mail, as I have a 1 year old, and don't want to be brining him to and from until a deal is figured out. The first contact was great, but then it was like he did not want to deal with my situation of still owing payments and about to go over mileage because I sent two e-mails and called 3 times, and each time was told that he was with a customer and would call me back. Only one time he did, but I was in a meeting and called back 45 minutes later and never received another call over the next 2 days-even after the receptionist telling me they gave him my messages. Well, after 4 days of not being contacted (except when I randomly got a courtesy call asking how my Cruze was-which I thought was Jeff finally calling, but just a coincidence in timing) I finally gave Hawthorne Chevy a call. Their salesman immediately contacted me and said it was absolutely fine to do all number and conversations vi e-mail and text and thats exactly what happened. He texted me all information and throughout the week we slowly figured out a number and deal I could work with. Well, that was until Paramus finally e-mailed (Kashelle specifically) me late week to tell me I qualified for a lease forgiveness. I called them right away because of course I wanted to give them my sales, as I was a loyal customer. But was just about to lease from Hawthorne. So I called Kashelle and she told me I qualified for pull ahead and that they have a great deal for me. I told her that Hawthorne checked and told me I did not qualify, but she said different locations can do different things. I told her to go ahead and run some numbers and let me know what they figure out. She told me that was not possible and that I had to be there to talk numbers. I said, well since you are telling me I qualify, I will, but reinstated I was in the middle of dinner and have a 1 year old. So, I get up there, only to be told my Mostafa (I told them I had been working with Jeff and he was there, but I guess he was busy again) that I do NOT qualify for pull ahead and that this was not correct info. I was very frustrated and upset at Kashelle for disrespecting my time, and telling me false info just to get me there. I was quite clear with her I had a child, was already told by Hawthorne I did not qualify and just to do number over the phone and was still told she had a great deal. Mostafa however, was very helpful and probably the best person out of this deal, but he also was sent someone who was told incorrect info and still trying to get a sale. He was able to get my the number that Hawthorne had quoted me at and was super helpful at listening to what I wanted. The only part I did not appreciate was being pushed to put the first months payment on it, as I wanted to hold off to talk to my husband-but I know thats what they are trained to do to keep sales. In closing, I was very happy Mostafa got me at the number to match Hawthorne, but after Hawthorne respecting my communication wishes and doing everything via text and always responding to every little question, and NEVER being pushy. I did not feel right going with a dealership that made me follow up with them 4 times to get ahold of someone (remind you I was 200 miles from going over so this was a little urgent) refusing to talk number via email knowing I had a toddler at home and then lying to me to get me in there really rubbed me the wrong way, and therefore I went with the more professional dealership. More

Never Going Back What a visit I had a view weeks ago. I went in for a routine maintenance visit and was hit first with what was coming up that needed to be serviced wh What a visit I had a view weeks ago. I went in for a routine maintenance visit and was hit first with what was coming up that needed to be serviced which I declined. Then I made the mistake of saying I was hearing squeaking in my brakes. So my service adviser came up to me and tried to first sell me on wheel alignment. Declined that also. Then he came up to me and said to me, and I quote " for your safety it is necessary to replace front brakes and rotors" which once again I declined. So I just got my regular maintenance and asked for all findings to be written on my paperwork after service was completed. So then I read the paper that said brakes and rotor replacement was suggested to customer. So it is suggested after I was told an hour before that it was necessary for my safety. Then I decided to check out their Facebook upgrade event that saw via internet sales on Facebook. I spoke with Paul and told him I was interested in upgrading and that I had a car I was interested in trading in. I really appreciate when your salesmen always tell me I will never get out of the car I got from your location, then continued to insult me by trying to tell me that my car has depreciated $3,000 in 3 months without even driving the car during appraisal. Just because I am a woman does not mean I do not know anything about cars, car loans, and appraisal values. So when I asked why there was such an extreme depreciation I was told it was because of the tires. And to add to the hassle this location was causing me, the went on to show me a car and told me that since I was upside down in my loan that monthly payments would be $460 without giving me a break down and showing me that the event promotion voucher was included. So I left frustrated as usual with this location and never stepped foot back in there. This location needs to actually do their job. Because now I no longer own the car I got from this location and I've never been more happier. Here's some advise for our salesmen: (1.) My car was worth $9,500 big difference from the quote I got from Paul. (2.) Service dept do not push unnecessary work for a car and deem it as vital for safety when it is just a suggestion. (3.) Upside loan is just an excuse that your dealership uses when they don't want to do a trade in (4.) Stop telling customers at the signing to get an extended warranty that covers everything except for tires. This location must use that a lot just to add on an extra $3,000 to customers final payments. (5.) Women are smarter than you think when it comes to cars, stop belittling women when it comes to maintenance and sales. I no longer own the car I originally got from this location and just so you guys know that upside loan you kept telling me as an excuse is a complete lie. I have a brand new chevy and I am paying only $40 more than what I was paying from the car I got from your dealership. So happy I got out of a 2014 malibu and upgraded to a 2018 malibu. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Hope you guys learned something from this review. AND I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM MANAGEMENT ABOUT THIS ISSUE. YOU CAN KEEP ASKING FOR REVIEWS AND THEY WILL ALWAYS BE NEGATIVE. More
