We are not big fans of hard sell car dealerships. We had previously owned a 2000 S40 Volvo and were leaning toward leasing another Volvo strictly based on safety, comfort and trunk space. We were close to purchasing an S60 Volvo, but found the trunk space was much smaller and the headlights aren't as large as the old model. A friend recommended we look at the Volkswagen Passat. We are not car officianados and do not need all the bells and whistles that come with the newer vehicles. Jason was very patient with us. He showed us the Passat and took us on a test drive. We opted for a Passat without the moon roof as we never used it when we owned our previous Volvo. He explained all the features and we were very pleased. We ordered the car the same day and picked it up 2 days later. Jason programmed all the radio stations we listen to, switched the plates and we were on our way. Everyone at Palisades Volkswagen were pleasant to deal with. They actually made us feel like family and were never pressured to buy. The Passat has a very smooth ride and we take comfort with all the safety features we are concerned about at a much lower price.
