Eric was professional and stated what the mechanics would be doing to my car and why. He also seemed to accomodate my schedule by squeezing me in for an appointment on Saturday and completing the work before be doing to my car and why. He also seemed to accomodate my schedule by squeezing me in for an appointment on Saturday and completing the work before they closed permitting I pay by phone since I was out of town. The only thing I didn't like is with respect to pricing. I needed more coolent fluid and he recommended flushing it out for $129. I didn't understand why flushing out the coolent would cost that much as it doesn't seem like an involved task or require much labor time, so I opted for topping it off as it was slightly low. More

I had a blowout and needed an emergency tire repair. Even though it was the end of the work day, Jason told me to bring it in, and they'd look at it first thing in the morning. The next day, Eric contacted me, described the situation completely, and we arranged for the repair. I couldn't get to the shop before Service closed, so Eric took my payment over the phone and we arranged for a lock-out pickup. I've been going to Palisades Volkswagen for over 10 years. They always make me feel like I am their only customer. That's important to me. More

They follow up later on (like this, or with a phone call) and I really believe someone in authority oversees the responses. The only downside is the cost. If you were to annualize the expense of a visit, no problem. But when it all comes at once — that when you remember that people liked horses for a reason. I don't know if VW is more expensive than other dealerships; but I've never heard of them having a sale on labor costs. More
I am JongHoon Kim working for the HQ of an US based global company. I arrived in NY 2 months ago, and purchased 2010 VW CC Luxury, an used car from an used car dealer in Fort Lee. Because I found global company. I arrived in NY 2 months ago, and purchased 2010 VW CC Luxury, an used car from an used car dealer in Fort Lee. Because I found some alarming messages on my dashboard, I made a service center reservation and visited Palisades VW at 07:45 am, Aug 5. I met Mr. Jason Casimiro, a service adviser. He was very kind, clear and fast to proceed thru whole process of my visiting. He completed all fixes, changes and inspections aligning with my business schedule within 1 day. In conclusion, I was very satisfied with the total service quality of Palisades VW. Now I am ready to enjoy my VW CC's driving again. If someone ask me to purchase or repair a VW in NY or NJ, I'll strongly recommend Palisades VW and Jason. Thank you Jason and Palisades VW. P.S. Orlando, the driver of complimentary riding to my house was also very kind. Though it's a short time, he made me experience a safe & confortable driving in US. More
Stellar service. Friendly, prompt, considerate. They kept me informed at all stages, and went above and beyond to make sure my car got everything it needed (much of it at no additional cost to me). My beetle is just a month old and I notice a comment pertaining too Coolant Temp. so I placed a call to the service department; which responded to my concerns in a very professional manner :). I was as pertaining too Coolant Temp. so I placed a call to the service department; which responded to my concerns in a very professional manner :). I was asked to bring the vehicle in and it was looked at immediately. In addition to addressing my concern the dealership also did a complete look over of the beetle. I was told this was a complimentary service for new vehicle owners. I also very much liked Orlando, the representative that gave me the courtesy lift to work and back. The counter staff and Palisades VW Service department were very friendly & helpful. I did have one issue after picking up my beetle that concerned me and my husband. Seems while my vehicle was in for this service someone must have put air in my tires, the pressure was brought up to approx 51 and within 5 minutes of leaving my sensor light came on. So when I got back too work I placed another call and was told to drop the pressure down to 33 on each tire, which we did and I drove home. Per the data inside my vehicle (drivers door) the tires should be 29. The light remained on all the way home, 45 minute drive - so I read the owners manual and seems that my vehicle has a button in glove compartment that must be reset any time my tires are adjusted.... Would have been nice to be made aware of this necessary reset by the service department. My concerns are: 1) Why would anyone have increased the pressure so high; especially since this wasn't an issue when I originally brought the vehicle in. 2) Shouldn't someone have mentioned the Reset was needed as well? Other than that I was pleased with my experience. Kate Harris More
