My experience at Palisades Volkswagen was a very positive one due to the actions and approach of Kris Anders . I have been bringing my car to VW for two years now for a 40,000 and 50,000 mile check up and both times I have had very bad service. Both times I made an appointment and both times I was made to wait over s 40,000 and 50,000 mile check up and both times I have had very bad service. Both times I made an appointment and both times I was made to wait over six hours to hear about the progress on my car and both times I had to reach out and contact VW. No one tried to call me with a progress update even to tell me that it would take longer than expected and both times when I called they found something that needed to be fixed and would cost over $1,000. I was told that if I waited in the waiting room they would have put my car ahead of others, even though I had already made an appointment. I was also scolded for not telling anyone that I needed the car back at a certain time even though no one asked me when I needed it back and when making an appointment online there is no option to put in an end time. I was told my service would take about an hour and a half and there was a thirty minute wait period. I am a math teacher and that adds to two hours. When I pointed this out the service rep snarkily pointed out that he never told me that my car would be worked on after that half hour waiting period. No one offered to compensate me, I was basically told that they are really busy right now and it's my fault for not telling them when I needed my car back. Bad service, probably not going back. More
