I looked at Chevy Silverado, Ford F150 and Toyota Tacoma for towing a 3,700 pound boat/trailer. I wanted a backup camera, seating for four (with four door handles on the exterior), 4WD and a towing package for towing a 3,700 pound boat/trailer. I wanted a backup camera, seating for four (with four door handles on the exterior), 4WD and a towing package/hitch that could handle at least 5000 pounds of trailer weight. The Chevy and F150 were "overkill" since they can tow 11,000 pounds and cost a lot. The Tacoma 4WD Double Cab V6 was a better and cheaper fit being able to tow 6500 pounds - double the weight of the boat/trailer. I went on the Toyota web page and "built" the Tacoma that I wanted, just to get an idea of what the price would be before talking to the dealers. I tried the AutoNation Toyota dealer in Leesburg first, but they were clueless and rude. I had actually purchased a 4Runner from them back in 1995 (when they were called "Leesburg Toyota".) We went to Ourisman of Chantilly the next day. Freddie was a good salesman, he listened to what we wanted and showed us the inventory. They had a Tacoma that was almost a 100% fit with the Tacoma that I "built" on the web page. We went for a test drive and Freddie explained everything about the truck. We started negotiating the price and we went back and forth several times. In the end, we agreed on what I thought was a fair price based on Consumer's Report data and information that I got from the Internet regarding what people REALLY pay for different vehicles. The paperwork with the finance guy went pretty quickly, while they prepped the truck. We drove it home that afternoon and I had a big smile on my face all the way home. They negotiated pretty hard, but I negotiated just a little harder. Freddy was very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. I'm a "senior" citizen and I've been buying new cars/trucks/SUVs since 1974 - that's a lot of cars/trucks/SUV. Overall I'd say that my experience with Ourisman was right up there at the top of my list. No regrets. More
