I would just like to update on this situation as the poster! FINALLY Fenton agreed to refund the $1600 that they overcharged us on the vehicle. They told us it would be credited to our car loan within 6 weeks. At 6 weeks we called and they said the check was being cut that day (so as you can see it was not resolved within the 6 week time frame THEY came up with!). To make matters worse it's been a week since the check was supposedly sent to our finance company and there has been no received payment at this time. So 7 weeks in to their resolution, and it's still NOT resolved. PSHHH They're just bigger liars every day. I should mention my husband was a contract worker at the time of this deal and I work for a social services department of the state making piddly monies while my husband shoulders the majority of our financial debt. We're good people and just expect them to do what they 1. Agreed to at the beginning and 2. What they said they would do to resolve it as every week that goes buy, heck every day, costs us more and more money. Higher balance = more interest due. :(
