The Managers and Marcus made sure I got a great deal and instead of just test driving I decided to go ahead and purchase the car. I must say the transaction and process was flawless , I'm so happy with the car and the way my family and I were treated . These guys are professional and I truly feel like I got first class treatment . Thanks again Marcus , Anthony and Jon for helping us out ...... More
Honest, sincere, willing to listen. I don't know why so many other customers have given a low rating. I have always found the staff in sales, finance, and service to be professional - they are willing to work with you and go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. My family has bought several VW's over the years and find them to be reliable cars if given the right care and maintenance. Cars can't talk so finding a good mechanic and service rep to explain things is a given. This dealership has both. More
Bait & Switch -- Sold vehicle "just" before we arrived. Spoke w/ the salesman at 9am to confirm availability and then again at 11:30am to confirm a 12:30pm appointment. When I got to the dealership, as agreed and confirmed, I was told the vehicle was sold earlier in the day. Of course they offered to show me similar vehicles all $1,000 to $1,500 more then the one which was advertised and discussed via email. Classic bait and switch tactic, advertising one vehicle at excellent pricing only for it be "recently sold" and then trying to substitute a vehicle with much less favorable pricing. A complete waste of my time, unprofessional and downright sleazy. I bought a vehicle from Flemington VW instead. Avoid these guys at all costs. More

She lied to our face on numerous occasions and then changed service records when we provided original service receipts.. They never provided us with the service we requested and when caught they just lied and back tracked. Also, after I confronted them and posted my experience on social media, all of the employees went on to write fake reviews on line. Please don't go by google reviews as ALL of the employee's wrote fake xx after my review. Sita actually reviewed her own service department on fb and when I called her out on her unethical review she then deleted it. screen shot for proof! Do your homework!! More
Avoid This Dealer Went to VW of Bridgwater today to get the rear shocks looked at since they were out. (The car bounces in the rear and wobbles at highway speeds.) Afte Went to VW of Bridgwater today to get the rear shocks looked at since they were out. (The car bounces in the rear and wobbles at highway speeds.) After waiting at VW, I was told there was nothing wrong with the rear shocks on my 2013 GTI. On a side note, my personal VW mechanic of 10 years showed me what was wrong when I had my car into him for maintenance. The new tires were already showing signs of cupping due to the faulty rear shocks. I mentioned this to the VW of Bridgewater service manager and was then told to follow him to the service bay. We spoke with the VW mechanic and he agreed that the car did indeed bounce in the rear and wobbled at highway speeds but that the warranty repair would not be carried out due to the fact that the tires were not the original tires. Yes, the Volkswagen mechanic agreed that the car bounced in the rear and wobbled at highway speeds but the warranty repair of the rear shocks would not be carried out due to the simple fact that the worn tires had been replaced with new tires. In addition to this pathetic excuse to avoid a warranty repair on their part, they charged me $140 to look at my car only to tell me they would not grant a warranty repair. Needless to say, they will not be getting my business anymore. More

Stripped oil drain plug This dealer stripped my drain plug at last oil change. Now that my car is out of warranty, I wanted to change the oil myself. I jacked up the car an This dealer stripped my drain plug at last oil change. Now that my car is out of warranty, I wanted to change the oil myself. I jacked up the car and noticed the drain bolt was completely stripped. I realize mistakes can happen so I call them to explain. They say no prob, bring it in and we'll look at it. Different story when I get there, they first accuse me of taking it somewhere else where it was damaged and then say we'll look at it but it's $70 to do so. When I pushed back saying they damaged it so why should I pay, David went into the manager's office (Sita Goss) to explain the situation. She came out with such a disgusting and arrogant attitude, at one point even telling me to "stop talking" and then told me where the door was. Is that how a customer should be treated? She had such a xxxxty attitude and offered no help at all. This dealer is terrible, management does not care about the customers at all. I ran this up the chain to VWOA and the local GM, let's see if they do anything to make this right. I'd give them no stars if I could. More

I have been waiting for 3 hours for a minor fix under warranty. I had asked them to have the car washed but they did not. As a matter if fact, the car was even more dirty in the inside after they finished the repairs. Night and day difference between this place and Flemington VW. Just go to Flemington VW and save yourself the pain if dealing with Openroad VW. More
HORRIBLE SERVICE Do NOT buy a car from here. Not because you can't get a fair deal, but because once you buy the car, SERVICE goes out the window. I dropped my car off Do NOT buy a car from here. Not because you can't get a fair deal, but because once you buy the car, SERVICE goes out the window. I dropped my car off at 1:30 pm on a Friday. "David" said they may not get to it Friday, but that they were open Saturday. Well, Saturday came and went and not even a phone call. Monday at 1pm I called THEM as I still did not receive a call. I was told it was on the diagnostic machine and David would call me back with the results. Called back at 4pm and got "we are doing further testing" and "will call you tomorrow". Tuesday at 1:10 pm I calley THEM yet again and was told the car was on the lift and being looked at. But the Technician was "out to lunch" so "David" needed to wait for him to get the results. At 4pm I had not heard back. So I called Volkswagen main headquarters to complain. They called this dealership and were on with them for about 10 minutes. The woman Maureen clicked back over and said that Sita the manager said they already called me and I was picking up my car in an hour! They never even called me and we verified the phone numbers they had were right! They out-right lied! Then they claimed they could not look at my car until Tuesday because I have a voucher to fax them. I specifically told them the $130 diagnostic fee was not a problem and I needed my car back quickly. And this after David told me 2 days in a row my car was "on the lift" and on the machine". So I am filing a complaint. This is the second MAJOR issue with this specific dealership. "David" will just continue to tell you your car is in the shop as we speak...and really it is not. So after hanging up with the main office, I immediately called David and his first words were "Oh your car is ready". I said you never called me and you guys lied to the main office outright. He said oh well the voucher and all and I said hey, for 2 days you said my car was in the shop being worked on. So I asked him how much was the work, you tell me to pick up my car before even telling me the $$????? So 5 minutes go by and he said oh, it was $413....and guess what, my credit voucher was $400....so they made sure to spend the whole thing so they can get a check from Headquarters (who issued me the voucher) for the whole thing. I told him he LIED and LIED. And guess what? When I picked up the invoice and my car, the paperwork said "could not work on car until Tuesday because customer said he had a voucher and did not supply it until late Monday". Trying to cover their lying selves. Not going to work. Note this dealership is Now located on Route 22 w. More
