However, while checking their website I noticed they had another car there that I was interested in for my wife. Figured I would get that car for my wife, then discuss with them getting a new X5. Came to an agreement on the car I wanted for my wife, and she went down to test-drive the vehicle. She noted to me that it was pulling to the right and that she told Mike and he said he would address the issue before selling the car. We decided to move forward on the purchase and completed the necessary paperwork. It took them about 5 days to get back in touch with us (even with my wife calling constantly to get an update). They finally got back to us with, what I thought was, a high interest rate, so we decided to buy the car outright. I then decided I would go down for a test drive myself, and along with the car pulling to the right I noticed that the car's dashboard had the brake light on, the "VDC Off" light on and the slip light on. Knowing it was simple fix/check, I asked them to address the issue, and they told me no...even though they listed the car as a certified pre-owned. I noted that they were only interested in who would pay the most (which is not necessarily a bad business model, if you don't care about repeat business)...I figured (b/c Mike kept saying it) they had someone willing to pay more for the car, so regardless of the fact that we already made a deal (and even though they told my wife a week earlier they would) they decided not to address the issues with the car. So I have decided not to buy any new or used car from them.... I’ll just take my business elsewhere. I guess they are not interested developing a good sales relationship with their clients. It is for that reason I would never buy, or recommend anyone to buy, from this dealership. More
Drove 3 hours to look at a car and wasted my time. First off I drove three hours to look at a used 2013 335iX. I was looking for one in manual, so this is why I drove so far to look at this one. Once I First off I drove three hours to look at a used 2013 335iX. I was looking for one in manual, so this is why I drove so far to look at this one. Once I got there I was told we couldn't test drive it because it was blocked in by five cars. I told the salesman that we will move them and that I didn't drive 3 hours to not drive the car. We finally moved all the cars and went for a ride. The salesman Ramond was great but the sales manager Jerry ruined my experience and lost the sale of the car for them. I needed a co-signer and was going to use my dad, who was out of town for a week on business, so he couldn't come in and sign it for me until the following week. Jerry told me he could not hold the car for me because of their policy. I told him I was a serious buyer but he still said no. Fast foreword a week and the car is still not sold, and I'm sitting behind the wheel of a 2014 BMW 335iX that I got somewhere else. This was a case of a good salesmen who's manager lost him the sale. went for purchase After arriving at the dealership I was told someone would be with me shortly but ended up waiting for 45 minutes. The used car sales manager eventual After arriving at the dealership I was told someone would be with me shortly but ended up waiting for 45 minutes. The used car sales manager eventually got me a BDM to work with me. The only person, the BDM (Terry) at dealership was the one who was brought in after 45 minutes was helpful in showing me the car of my interest. Negotiation wise used car sales manager just threw some random low numbers on my trade and would not want to negotiate on his car. All this negotiatios were done thru BDM, (not the sales advisor) he diidnt want to come and talk. ROXBURY NOT RECOMMENDED .... More
Fraudulent or deceptive marketing - cannot be trusted I have very bad experience with them. From cars.com listing, I discussed and negotiated price. But that increased the price when I went there. used car manager keeps it classy. these people had to have expected a review from me. this place was such jokes, I actually had fun. Gabriela (she was actually fantastic), from the int these people had to have expected a review from me. this place was such jokes, I actually had fun. Gabriela (she was actually fantastic), from the internet dept, and I exchanged emails about a CPO 5 series for price X. I decided to visit last Friday and checked the vehicle online for availability and the price was then X + $1,000. I ignored that because I had already spoken with Gabriela. I arrived and met very nice sales guy, Sahid, he informed me that CPO vehicles never have any major body work and the 5 series of my interest had none at all. that seemed true and the car was great-- I was ready to buy. we went inside and the Used Car Manager, Johnny, decided to raise the price of the car to X + $5,000. SERIOUSLY bro? he proceeded to tell me that the vehicle came from the body shop and had both bumpers replaced and passenger door. He then started to say that Gabriela did not do her job and has been giving a hard time. I guess it is cool to bash at a fellow employee behind their back. I just hope that while John is busy keeping it classy and professional that he has enough time to get his stories straight. More
I have had several bad experiences at Open Road BMW. The first was with my 2013 X5 with 5500 miles on it. In extreme cold weather, the first bad snow storm, my windshield washer fluid would not work and th first was with my 2013 X5 with 5500 miles on it. In extreme cold weather, the first bad snow storm, my windshield washer fluid would not work and the part that pops up on the front bumper that cleans the windshield froze in the up position. Therefor I could not clean my windshield. I brought it back three times on the same day before they were able to figure out the problem. I first problem was the concentration that was put in was a summer concentration which means they mixed it with water and it froze in extreme cold weather which is unacceptable on any vehicle, not to mention, a BMW. When brought back two more times the same day, they were explaining how the front headlight cleaning worked. I was misinformed twice. Took several hours to take care of this. The other incident is still in progress which is the worst one yet. I had a wheel refinished due to a few small nicks. I was quoted $150.00. I was told to drop it off. I did so only to get a call the next day where I was told it would cost $220. I reluctantly agreed. They already had the wheel and I felt confident that BMW would send the wheel out to someone reputable. The wheel was dropped off on March 7 at approximately 10:30 am. Mike Bezak told me it should be done by Tuesday. I was called late March 13th that it was in. I made an appointment for 11:00am on Friday. I took a day off of work and went to Roxbury BMW. When I looked at the wheel in Mikes office I was extremely disappointed to see several nicks in the wheel. It definitely was not done to my satisfaction and Mike also agreed. I did not want to have to go thru this experience again. Mike advised me that all he could do was to send it out again. I did not want to do that. I don't feel I should have to have a wheel resurfaced twice because of their mistake. Each time a wheel is resurfaced it takes away from the wheel and could lead to other imperfections. I asked if they could find another wheel like it at BMW. Mike made a sarcastic comment. He stated, "So I will find and new wheel and damage it and have it refinished!" That, in my mind, just added insult to injury. As a customer, I should not be subjected to that type of comment. I spoke with Andre because the service manager, Reggie, was not in. Long story short, the best they could do was to send the wheel out again and charge me half the price. I did NOT want to do this but I had no other choice. It was my time that was being wasted on their mistake. I advised them that I would do so if they would put the 20" wheels on free of charge. I already had 18" wheels on the truck for the snow and was having a 20" wheel resurfaced so I could put the 20" wheels on. This was a HUGE imposition!!! They would not agree. I am extremely dissatisfied with both incidents. I know at this point they see me as the problem but I assure you, this is not proper customer service. It was not my fault who they sent this wheel out to did not do a good job. I will not stop at this step. I will go thru the internet/facebook/yelp. This is EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. I don't believe that putting the wheels on free of charge, which costs only $67 is worth this to Open Road BMW. More
