I just bought a used Ranger for my son. Over the years I have purchased 3 other cars at Olathe Ford and it has been many years since I have had service done anywhere else. I will never, ever, ever go back to Olathe Ford or recommend them to anyone. In fact, I tell people to stay as far away from them as possible. My husband was approved online through Ford Motor Credit for much more than the Explorer we wanted cost. Well, my Pontiac Aztek was on its last leg, so we decided to see if we might be able to get two vehicles. We went to Olathe Ford and told them what we were looking at doing. They looked at my husband's trade in and gave him the numbers. It looked like we were going to be able to get my vehicle too. Perusing the lot, we found a really nice Kia Sportage with low miles at an excellent price because of hail damage. Of course, they had to look at my Aztek to see what they could give me for trade in. They asked us to come back the next day at 5:00. My husband took time off work and made the 40 mile trip, only to find out that the salesperson was not there. Not only that, they sold the Kia. Now, I understand we didn't have a contract or a deposit on the Kia. However, they could have at least called to tell us it was sold and that the salesman was not going to be there. We were not even offered an apology. However, I guess I can thank Olathe Ford for their horrendous customer service because we ended up buying two beautiful SUVs at Bob Allen Ford where we received a far better trade in, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. More

I first contacted Olathe Ford by email and I was pleased with their prompt response and competitive price. After exchanging several emails and telephone calls, I visited the dealership and was even more ple with their prompt response and competitive price. THe salespeople at Olathe Ford were great about answering my questions and helping me find the right car. I love my Fiesta with its 40 miles per gallon. This dealership used to have an excellent service department. BUT NOT ANYMORE. Two to three years ago that changed - I feel like they must have hired somebody from Bob Allen Ford, which also has a department. BUT NOT ANYMORE. Two to three years ago that changed - I feel like they must have hired somebody from Bob Allen Ford, which also has a terrible service department. They fail to do such things as check tire pressure during routine oil change service, we have even left the dealership after an oil change and have then had oil leaks. Now they charge an $89 diagnostic fee that does not apply to repair, nor do they refund the charge when the diagnostics do not fix the problem. Twice now I have been called by Olathe Ford to rate my experience after the service was performed. Twice I expressed my unhappiness and was told the Service Manager, somebody Munson, would call me back within 24 hours. Never happened. Basically, we can't trust them to do what they say they will do, and they charge for services not provided. We're moving on to another shop. More
I just bought a new Focus from Olathe Ford because they were so helful. The slaemen took the time to find out what I wanted and to help me select the one that was best for me.
