I have been a Ford Customer for 42 years since my first new car when my wife and were married 1982. It was a Ford Crown Victory 4 Door Sedan. It was an excellent vehicle. In my 42 years of marriage, I have only purchased new Ford Vehicles and have purchased these new Vehicles over that time span at Olathe Ford, Shawnee Mission Ford and xxxxx Springs/Victory Ford. My last 3 new vehicles were from Olathe Ford. In the last 10 years, Olathe Ford has proved to be the Dealership in the Kansas City Metro Area that has an Excellent Staff supporting all areas of the business especially Sales and Service. I recently Retired after 42 years of Corporate Engineering, Capital & Expense Budget, Network Engineering with Sprint and the Bank Of America successfully managing hundreds of millions of Project Dollars. Now that my income has been reduced as a result of being Retired, I worked closely with Matt Stowell, New Vehicle Sales Director, to provide Matt my wants and desires for a new Vehicle for my Wife and work to stay in my new Budget. Matt delivered and assisted me with obtaining the best possible deal on a new 2024 Ford Edge SEL. Once Matt and I narrowed down the New Car Search to the new 2024 Ford Edge SEL that I purchased, Mark Parker worked with me as my Liaison to Olathe Ford Management and represented me to finalize a couple more requests that I wanted to be included into the new car purchase. I received a last minute $1,000 Ford Edge Owner Loyalty Reward Program Rebate which I appreciated after 42 years of being a Ford Loyal Customer. The only area that I thought that was below my expectations was the value of my Trade-In. The 2019 Ford Edge SEL that my wife drove was in mint condition and included many add-on's like Tinted Windows from Steve, new Michelin Tires, Factor Installed Trailer Hitch that was never used and more. I thought the Used Car Sales Manager could have been more respectful with a higher Trade-In Amount. I understand this is a business and I can appreciate the fact that Olathe Ford still has to make a profit. When anyone asks me about Olathe Ford, I will have nothing but good things to say. More
Eric the sales manager was very unprofessional and told me to go buy a truck from somewhere else after we had already agreed on a trade value for a new purchase. He later tried to add on dealer trade fee a me to go buy a truck from somewhere else after we had already agreed on a trade value for a new purchase. He later tried to add on dealer trade fee and lot package after the fact by lowering the already agreed on trade value. This was a truck already on their lot why would I pay their dealer trade fee? When I objected to the fees he told me it's not going to work out and he hung up on me and won't answer my calls. Also was giving me different trade values based on what new vehicle I was buying. Not customer oriented at all. I will update this review after I speak to the general manager. They are also aware that I'm a Ford employee but I guess that doesn't matter either. Completely disappointed More

Not always the norm as a woman dealing with car salesmen. I encountered the same positive experience with dealers in Omaha, Denver, Florida and New York. We live in Louisiana. We tried to buy from another Ford dealer in Dallas b/c it was closer, but what a nightmare. That’s a whole ‘nother review! We are really happy we bought from them and think you’ll be happy as well! Overall the initial sales process was better than we have had in the past but that was a low bar. After taking delivery of the vehicle has not been so smooth. I called to find out about the paperwork and the floormats we had ordered after 2 weeks had passed with no communication. We pointed out bubbled paint before leaving, was told the body shop would call but that did not happen so I have had to drive that fix and even getting it looked at was not scheduled as I was told. The day after purchase the entire suspension went completely out so I drove under 30 mph to the nearest Ford dealership that found there was something that had not been connected correctly at the factory. It has been issue after issue and this dealership is almost 45 mins away so I was not looking to have to drive out there so much, especially in such a short period. I would look for a better experience considering what we paid for this vehicle and what is expected from Lincoln in general. More
