This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had. The Vice President (Brian) was friendly and took time to make me feel like a VIP. O'Donnell has always worked with us and given us a great deal. Every sales person we have worked with has been very professional, knowledgeable, yet down to earth, and it feels like they are your friend before you drive away with your new car. When visiting the service area, we have always been given service above and beyond what is expected. We truly wouldn't go anywhere else. On top of the experience at O'Donnell, you know you are always buying a safe and reliable car. More
I had used Car Bargains to secure quotes for the vehicle I wanted. Unfortunately, the dealership I initially tried to work with refused to honor their agreement and I needed to find another dealership to us I wanted. A friend highly recommended O'Donnell's (as did the Car Bargain's rep) so I gave Jerry a call. He completely understood my situation and over the phone, we ran through the numbers and he assured me he had the car I wanted on the lot...and he was true to his word. Driving the 40 miles from Arlington, VA to Ellicott City was well worth my time - I was in and out of there in 2 hours, after getting a fair price for my trade and the agreed upon price for the new car. No pressure for anything, ever. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone - regardless of where they live. More

He did not try to pressure us to add on a bunch of extra stuff he knew we did not want. He also did not try to raise the price when we finally decided to get the car. He was always upfront with regarding every step of the car buying process. I would not hesitate to drive 40 miles to their dealership to buy another car. More
Terrible experiences both times I've shopped here. The first time I went here, my husband and I wanted to purchase a silver Honda Fit. The sales rep kept trying to push a red one on us simply b/c they had an overflow of that color in stock, and didn't want to look it up to see whether they were getting any silver models in even after I asked. We left, went straight to Jim Coleman Honda, and purchased a new silver Honda Fit sport that day. Fast forward a year to hands down the WORST car buying experience I've ever had. I wanted to purchase a brand new Honda CR-V b/c I was 9 months pregnant and wanted a bigger car for my burgeoning family. I emailed various Honda dealers and received the best quote from Jim Coleman. Because O'Donnell was a more convenient location, I decided to give them a second chance. Over the phone, Carol Ann Kudisch agreed to match the price. However, her attitude completely changed when I went in to purchase. After finalizing the paperwork, her total sales price was higher than Jim Coleman's offer which she agreed to over the phone earlier. When I pointed out the discrepancy line by line, Carol Ann became increasingly frustrated, started jabbing at the computer screen, and at one point lowered her head, rubbed her temples with both hands and sighed in exasperation. I even tried to diffuse the situation by saying, "Yeah, it's getting late, I'm kinda tired too." She said, "I'm not tired, I'm frustrated!" She claimed she never agreed to that sale price, and insinuated that Jim Coleman never offered it, even after I showed her the email printout of the offer Jim Coleman emailed me earlier that day. Then she literally pushed her desk phone toward me, threw the receiver in front of me and said "Prove it. Call them right now." I was horrified by her behavior. Finally when she saw I wasn't backing down on the price, she said, "We obviously can't help you here, so maybe you should just go to Jim Coleman." I thought I was in the twilight zone. My husband and I walked out in a daze. Well actually, I waddled b/c remember, I was fully pregnant at the time and was due the following week. We left O'Donnell and drove towards Jim Coleman. I was already calling them from my cell to let the sales rep there know we were on our way to purchase the CR-V, when I realized I left my financial paperwork at O'Donnell. We made a u-turn and when we pulled back up to the dealer, Dale Boswell was standing at the entrance and asked what happened, he thought we were purchasing today, what went wrong, etc etc. I told him, yes, I was intending on purchasing today, but Carol Ann told us to go to Jim Coleman instead. He apologized profusely, told us she shouldn't have let us leave ("let" us? more like "made" us leave) before talking to him, and explained that she had a medical appointment and wasn't feeling well. I told him I was 9 months pregnant and I don't feel well either but I was in no way rude the way she was. I told him I was uncomfortable with her behavior and attitude, and he personally sat down with us and finalized the paperwork, matching Jim Coleman's offer. The rest of the transaction was uneventful. More

I had been told that O'Donnell was a great place to go, even though it was far away from my house. Ken and Rajeev (in financing) were both so helpful and did everything they could to explain whatever I ne even though it was far away from my house.
