I had shopped at other dealers for weeks and was disappointed in the run around and typical dealership haggle. So stopped by O'Donnell on a whim because I was going to CarMax anyway. Jerry was awesome. He was low pressure, knowledgable and just awesome to work with. O'Donnell had the model and color Pilot I wanted but I had a price I wanted to pay and he made it happen. I left to see what CarMax would give me for my car and when I came back, he got the price I asked for. I couldn't ask for more. He also offered to go over the Pilot's features in detail at a future date, since we ran out of time that day. I would HIGHLY recommend Jerry and O'Donnell to anyone. More
I liked the saleman, JT Fields. He was no pressure, pleasant, very honest, patient and acomodating. O'Donnell did not have the separate sales person who tries to sell extras which I never have liked. O'Donnell Honda exceeded our expectations and set themselves apart from other dealerships in the area. Their customer service and prices were great. Our sales consultant, Chris, was outstanding and themselves apart from other dealerships in the area. Their customer service and prices were great. Let me start by saying that this is not the closest Honda dealership to my home, or the only one I have visited. Far from it. That said, I would have traveled three times as far for the kind of experience dealership to my home, or the only one I have visited. Far from it. That said, I would have traveled three times as far for the kind of experience I had at O'Donnell Honda. I met my salesperson, Chris Councill on the phone, and within five minutes I knew I was going to buy my Honda at O'Donnell. Chris was informative, polite, and accomodating. I knew exactly what I wanted, having seen it on the O'Donnell website before I called. I knew about what I thought I should pay, and in TEN MINUTES Chris and I had worked out a mutually beneficial deal on the EXACT car I wanted. (He even checked how many miles were on the odometer, at my request). Unlike some dealers, O'Donnell, did not add a bunch of dealer-installed extras to the car to expand their profits and bargaining position. The car was pure stock, which makes it easier for the consumer to know what they are paying for. Most of us want to choose what we decide to add to our car anyway, right? Although I had settled on a car before I came in, O'Donnell had two identical vehicles on the lot. I didn't want to be a pain, but I felt like driving both of them, just to see if one or the other gave me a better feel. Chris let me drive both cars without making me feel like a bother, and, in fact, I did like one better, and selected that one. I'm a little obsessive compulsive, perhaps, and I appreciated that Chris indulged that side of my personality without making me feel like a problem. Once the driving was done, the buying process was a pleasant half hour or so. I got a fair price for my trade, a polite reveiw of the manuals and such, and took possesion of carefully detailed, fully fueled Honda FIT base, with automatic. I feel very fortunate to have found O'Donnell. Having scouted around a lot, I finally came across their website, and was very pleased at the ammount of cars they had listed in stock, and the variety of colors and trim levels. I like having a lot to choose from, and O'Donnell had more than most. As I have said, Chris Councill was really a great salesperson. The best I have enountered. The dealership was clean, comfortable, and organized. We had a puppy with us, and everyone was very accomodating about that as well. If you are shopping for a Honda, (and why wouldn't you be?) you really should go to O'Donnell. This is a big purchase. As long as you are going to spend your money, you might as well feel good about it. Buy a car at O'Donnell. Have a pleasant experience. Then spend a little of the money you saved down the street in the historical district of Ellicott City, where you can celebrate your new purchase. The sales manager and his team made our car buying experience a pleasure rather than the struggle I usually anticipate. They provided us with a vehicle that was just what we wanted, and didn't try selling us anything we didn't want. I especially want to acknowledge their finance manager, Rajeev. We worked together through a series of phone calls to get the financing in place before coming to the dealership to pick up the car we'd picked out. He really needed to go above and beyond the usual to deal with some misleading items on our credit report. His skill and his attentiveness were the perfect compliment to the sales experience. I will not only recommend others to buy from O'Donnell but I'll also let them know they are working with people who know what a difference partnership makes. More

Let me begin by saying that they are a decent dealership. They have a good reputation, and my wife and her family have purchased cars from them before. That being said, I went fully anticipating to pay less for the vehicle we bought (a 2012 CR-V). I had a moment where I was ready to walk out because the sales rep claimed that they weren't discounting the CR-V right now. I know this is bulls**t, but he offered instead to throw in an equivalent amount of accessories to match the price I was expecting to pay. Once I started getting down to the nuts and bolts of the sale, the rep would only look my wife in the eye, not me. I understand these guys have to make a profit, but 5% should be sufficient. One other thing, the finance rep made several mistakes on the documentation, which he ended up having to reprint three times. That worried me, as he was seemingly not paying attention to details. Otherwise it was a good experience. More
