We have been a Boch Toyota South customer since 2007. We bought a new 2007 Toyota Corolla there. We did EVERY (and I mean every) single thing for that car there. Repairs, scheduled maint., tires everything bought a new 2007 Toyota Corolla there. We did EVERY (and I mean every) single thing for that car there. Repairs, scheduled maint., tires everything on time. We went there to look at another vehicle, and so began the WORST sales experince I have ever had. We were there for 5 1/2 hours. Now we have 680+ credit, so they didn't need to look for financing, so there was no reason for this lengthy wait, save it was a sales tactic to wear you down. They focused on my wife like a pack of sharks. First they took us out for a test drive. At that point I said ok, if she likes it, let me come back tomorrow, you can see her car (but your records on maint. should be clear) and you can let us know how much we can get for a trade in. Keep in mind, if it's not enough, I may just get together the cash. No problem they said. While I was away from the desk, they talked her into taking a drive up to grab the 2007, (we only live 5 mins from there). I came back, we went out, and I drove the 2007 back. I got right back. They took my wife out for an "extended 2nd test drive". I let them look at the car. They came back with $3,000 for the trade in. I said, nope. We will go home and look at the numbers again, see what we have for cash and we will see you in a day or two. They then started with the "We will only give you a deal today, and if you don't take it, you're not serious about dealing". Then the hard sell started. They quoted a new number for the new car, and upped the old one to $4,300. We agreed, and waited an hour and half just to see the finance person. It's now 5:30 p.m., they close at 6. The paperwork comes out, not the price we agreed upon. The financing was 3 points higher than my bank. I asked for the numbers they had put out on the table. They clearly showed they offered us one price, then when it came time to close the deal they denied it saying it was a "miscommunication". The sales manager had become involved and each denied writing the agreed upon number on the sheet. It's a sleezy trick, but it worked. I put an end to the sale, right there. They spoke to my wife, told her they had already transfered everything over, and she came out into the parking lot crying that she just wanted the car and to get out of there. I can see that 5 1/2 hours had done it's work, and she was exhausted. So I went back in and signed. I called Boch Corporate to complain. They had a very nice man offer me "Detailing". Then gift certificates to a restaurant that had closed it doors months ago. Then I got home and had a chance to look up the value of the 2007. We got screwed on financing, we got screwed on the trade in, and they screwed us on the 2011. I will never set foot into your place again. This is what I get for the $5,000 or so I have put down on repairs for both the 2007 and my car over the years? For buying Toyota, which "holds it's value? No thanks. I will shop elsewhere and I would strongly recommend that if you want to buy a new car AVOID Boch Toyota South. More

I would like to say that my experience with this dealership was fantastic! - I did not have to wait around at all I got great customer service right off the bat! Also they were very honest when selling me my first new car! I went out on test drives and got to voice my opions with out unruley customer sales reps trying to get me to buy everything and anything that came with the car. I went to a dealership a few months back and I was not satisfied with there over customer service so I was skeptical about going to another one. I have nothing but nice things to say and I would recommnand Renne my sales rep and anyone else for that matter to go to Boch Toyota South in North Attleboro! Jeanne Murphy More

This afternoon (Wed 11-3-2011) at about 3 PM I received a call from a dealer in Eastern MA that a Honda Accord I had planned to purchase tomorrow had been sold. It was a 2009 Honda Accord with 27k miles for call from a dealer in Eastern MA that a Honda Accord I had planned to purchase tomorrow had been sold. It was a 2009 Honda Accord with 27k miles for $14,400. Consequently, as I was driving back home to Plainville, MA I decided to stop in Boch Toyota. I had been receiving emails from the Bock Internet Sales person advising me I would benefit by visiting the Boch dealership. At the front door I was met by a salesman name Dave, as he sat right by the front door. I asked if he had any Honda Accords and Dave showed me a white 2009 Accord with 31,500 miles for $15,985. Coincidentally nearly identical specifications as the one I planned to buy tomorrow. But, Dave was confident he could get a better price. I told him of my recent experience with the same car with slightly less miles for $14,400. And that I might be a serious buyer if the price was more competitive with other Accords like the one for 14,400. . WE sat and discuss the matter. Then Dave went up to the sales manager’s desk/counter. After a couple minutes I heard an abrupt and quite obnoxious outburst (from about 50 feet away), “the price is $15,985, he can take it or leave it”. I was sure this wasn’t directed at me I thought how could a sales manager be that rude. But when I turned and looked it was indeed Dave on the receiving end of that sales manager’s wrath, which turns out was the General Sales Manager. SO, my first impression was , well if that is the kind of person they promote to General Sales Manager at Boch, then this is a very shoddy operation, and they probably won’t pay much attention to this letter. After I heard this abrasive comment, I stood up and headed for the door. Dave walked toward me at the door and I put out my hand and said thanks. He tried. Dave was professional and courteous, despite the offensive demeanor of the General Sales Manager. Back in the 90s I was an F&I Manager at a dealership in Newport, RI. It was not uncommon to see sales managers being obnoxious and openly rude to the salesmen. But I had never witnessed this rude, obnoxious behavior directed at a customer who was ready to buy a car. They say when a person has a good experience they tell only one person. But, when we have a bad experience we tell 30 people. How can I ever forget the most rude customer service I have ever experienced at a car dealership? Not only will my experience come up in conversations for years to come, but next year I had planned to trade my 2007 Explorer in for a 4 Runner or Land Cruiser. I don’t have to tell you WHY I will avoid the name Boch like the plague. It is ironic when I was shopping for a car for my wife during the past couple months I was in contact with the Internet Sales rep at Boch. He asked me to come into the dealership on numerous occasions. I responded with reservation that visiting a car dealership is not my (or many people’s) favorite thing to do. I had no idea that when I actually DID stop into Boch I would encounter the General Sales Manager from xxxx. More
I went to Boch Toyota South in the market for a new car (my old car had been with me since Jan. 2000 - almost 12 years). I had a few vehicles in mind that I could conceivably buy, with a Toyota being the (my old car had been with me since Jan. 2000 - almost 12 years). I had a few vehicles in mind that I could conceivably buy, with a Toyota being the first choice. James Dupuis was the salesperson I was introduced to. He was an excellent salesperson. He was extremely informative without being pushy. I had a lot of questions about leasing vs. purchasing a new vehicle, and he explained everything in detail. He was very patient on our test drives of vehicles and was very good at reading my reactions and responses to various features in the cars and explaining them in a very respectful, non-aggresive manner. He didn't try to push me into signing something that day, but was completely attuned to my needing time to think things over - which I did. I went back the next morning and leased a 2012 Toyota Camry. Jim had everthing done and ready for me that same day. He called as promised when the car was ready for pickup, and it was still only 4:40 that afternoon! Jim doesn't come across as the stereotypical "sleezebag" type of car salesman. He is very professional yet warm and welcoming, and he knows how to let a good product sell itself. The night I was thinking about my options, I called him a couple of times with questions which he responded to with his usual factual responses, amiability, and desire to be there for any other questions or issues I might have. I would definately recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new car, and I hope to return to him again a long ways out when I'm in the market for another new car! More
My husband and I were specifically looking for a 2011 Venza in a particular color that we had seen on the road. We had an 11 year old Sienna and were ready to move out of the mini van world. We had gone Venza in a particular color that we had seen on the road. We had an 11 year old Sienna and were ready to move out of the mini van world. We had gone to another Toyota dealership, but didn't see many Venza's and no one was around outside as we drove around, so we headed to Boch. As soon as we pulled in and parked, a salesman was standing at the door. We walked up to him and told him what we were looking for. That salesman was Jim Dupuis. He listened to what I had to say, and immediately took us to see what they had in Venzas. He let us drive one, and we fell in love with the Venza! Only problem was, they didn't have the color I wanted. Considering I wasn't in a hurry, Jim said he could get my color for me by putting in a search. He kept me posted as he searched. Then he tracked an order down, and it was going to be built in Kentucky at Toyota's factory there. It was originally going to another dealership, but Jim made a swap of sorts with a different color, and that is how Jim got me what I wanted! He was so good about callig me and updating me constantly as to what the status was as it was being built, then on the lot, then being delivered to Boch. It made me so excited and like a little kid waiting for a toy! Then when it did come in, Jim made sure everything involved in the process, went smoothly. He took us to Poe in finance, and he also was very personable and upbeat and helpful. Jim then went through the entire car, as to how to use everything. Considering I hadn't had a new car in 11 years, the technology has changed so much with all the sensors and smart key etc. Jim answered any and all our questions, even what may have been a "stupid question". He was very patient and accommodating. So much so, that when he called to see how we liked the car, I mentioned my husband was able to program 1 garage door to the Homelink system, but couldn't get the second to sinc. He said, "when he tries it again and it doesn't work, please call me and I'll work something out to come and help him. I can come over even on my day off, you're not far from me." I thought that was extremely nice of him. Even though he may have wanted a good rating, I don't see all salesmen going out of their way like that, especially if they've already sold the car. Very pleased overall. More
