Service on two vehicles I had two cars to service with Mike. One for a state inspection and the 2016 for 40 000 mile service. Disrespectful treatment! The service advisor completely ignored my explanation that if my car was left running for another ten minutes, my interlock device would require a rea The service advisor completely ignored my explanation that if my car was left running for another ten minutes, my interlock device would require a reading (me blowing into the device/breathalyzer). The employee assured me they would come get me to blow it if they needed to keep the car running. However, they did not, and I received a “lockout”. After calling my interlock provider to remedy the situation, which included paying a $75 lockout fee, they informed me my car had been running for over two hours without ever obtaining a breathalyzer reading. The lack of attention to my specific instructions and situation displays a lack of respect! More

If you go to Boch Toyota South, ask for Nick! Unfortunately the first impression of Boch Toyota South was not great for me, although Nick made up for all of the downfalls of my visit. I drove Unfortunately the first impression of Boch Toyota South was not great for me, although Nick made up for all of the downfalls of my visit. I drove to Boch Toyota from southern New Hampshire the day after a blizzard to check out a VW Golf R that they had on their lot. I called and scheduled an appointment in advance and also called back to tell the dealer I would be late to the appointment and reschedule for an hour later. I assumed that the car would be pulled up and ready, I was wrong. Upon getting to the dealer and walking inside I was greeted by someone with no appearance of a salesman, who was actually a salesman there. This man was not Nicholas. The salesman who spoke to me first told me that the Golf R was a few rows down the lot, but that since he could not drive stick shift I would need to pull up the car. I thought that was reasonable honestly, although I was handed a key and left to find the car. When I got to the car it was covered in snow (As expected after a snowstorm) and the salesman took around 10 minutes to get to the car with a snow brush, handed it to me, and then walked away to get a plate leaving me to clean off the car of snow and ice. I pulled the car out front after letting it warm up and I realized that the gas light was on (5 Miles to Empty), and the TPMS light (Tire Pressure) was on. I asked the salesman if we could put some premium gas in the car and make sure the air pressure was correct. He had trouble answering that question and insisted on a short test drive. I regretfully accepted. The salesman sat in the back of the car on his phone, forgetting to give me the directions for the first turn until I had been sitting at a stop light to go the wrong direction for 30 seconds so we improvised the test route. At over 45MPH the car was shaking, which I would assume is snow in the wheel well but since the TPMS light was on I wanted to make sure the snow was out of the wheel well and the tire pressure was correct as to confirm that there wasn't an issue with the car. When we got back to the dealer I mentioned the premium gas again (As the car felt like it wasn't running smoothly when in boost) and the tire pressure. I had to ask 3 times to get this done and offer a solution to the salesman. There was no critical thinking on his part. While he was running around the dealer trying to figure this problem out for around 30 minutes I was sitting in the front of the dealer twiddling my thumbs. I saw Nicholas was closing a deal and while he was away from his customer I expressed my frustration with the salesman I had and asked if he would like to assist me when he was done with his customer as he was the only other salesman I could see and he seemed pleasant. Nicholas smiled, said absolutely, gave me a firm handshake and said he would be with me shortly in a very pleasant manner. Around 10 minutes later the first salesman pulled the car in from the main road, apparently he went to get premium gas as requested although we were not informed. Miraculously he could drive stick now, that was frustrating. A few minutes after he pulled up with the car Nick came over and apologized for the wait and said we could drive the car again. He had us pull the car into the detail bay and personally got out and made sure to pressure spray the rest of the ice off the car and the snow from the wheels. He also checked the tire pressure and finally I had the confidence that I needed to make a feel that I was getting an accurate representation of how the car would perform every day. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable driving the car and that all my questions were answered. If he didn't know the answer to a question he said he was happy to find out the answer, I really appreciated that as I didn't expect him to know everything about off brand cars. He showed me a really great test drive route that was very long, and had a diverse selection of road types so I could really feel the car in every situation. When we got back to the dealer he was very no pressure about purchasing and understood that I was looking at other Golf R's as well. Overall I feel that I am not the typical customer. I went in knowing what I wanted to see and what I wanted from seeing the car. I'm a performance enthusiast and I look over every fine detail of a car that I'm looking to buy including the tire type and tread depth. Nick overdelivered on his customer service and really helped me feel comfortable with the dealer even after the disaster that was my early experience there. I can't recommend Nick as a salesman enough, if you come to this dealer make sure to set up an appointment with him before going in. If I ever need to buy a GT86 I'll drive down again just to give him the sale. More
