Overall I was very unimpressed with the service department scheduling and the customer service I received when I brought my vehicle in. I needed to take care of a long-overdue recall repair, prompt department scheduling and the customer service I received when I brought my vehicle in. I needed to take care of a long-overdue recall repair, prompted by reminders from the NoHo Toyota website and a placard I received in the mail. I initially booked my appointment online, including specifying the reason being a recall repair and that I preferred to wait while my repair was completed. Despite making the appointment a week in advance and receiving a confirmation via email, I received a voicemail the day before the appointment saying it needed to be rescheduled, but not including a clear reason why. When I spoke to the service department, they explained that recall appointments can only be scheduled before 12pm (the time I originally selected was later). That was frustrating because it seems like a simple parameter that should be included on the website appointment scheduling page, etc. and would have affected my decision of when to schedule the appointment to begin with. Because of this, I had to reschedule the appointment a couple of times to fit my availability. I never received any additional confirmations or reminders for the rescheduled times. On the day of my appointment, I arrived on-time for my 11:30am appointment. No one acknowledged me in the service lobby, so I walked up to a representative who seemed available. When I gave him my information, he almost seemed surprised I was there - he was brusk, bordering on dismissive and unfriendly as he looked through the history of my appointment (parts ordered, rescheduling, etc.). When he told me they would call me when my repair was completed in a few hours, I mentioned I had specified that I preferred to wait when I scheduled the original appointment and asked if that was possible. He tersely said it was going to take 3-4 hours and he didn't "know if that was wait-able." He did offer me a complimentary one-way Uber, but I politely declined, as I preferred to contact a friend to pick me up instead. He also seemed to be about to leave for the day, so passed my service case off to another representative. Shortly afterward, I received a text saying they would use it to send updates and I could send questions there as needed. I didn't receive any more information until 4pm, when a text came through saying my repair was complete and I could pick up anytime before 5pm. When I returned, it was unclear where I should go, no one proactively acknowledged me, and I had to seek out a service rep who kindly directed me to the cashier counter. This felt like a detail that could have been included in the text message (something like "When you arrive you can go to the cashier counter"), or on a sign in the lobby, etc. The cashier and the gentleman that brought my car up were both very friendly - they were the most pleasant people I interacted with during my visit. I also noticed a new scuff mark on the dashboard in the area of my repair. Despite that, the entire experience was extremely frustrating, and does not make me inclined to select this particular dealership for future service needs. That is also disappointing as this is by far the closest dealership in my area. More

Well, they did great on the job I had requested. Then they said I need a transfer case and front differential service. Those don't even exist on my RWD vehicle. Noticeably put in too much oil (dipstick reads significantly higher than full) for my Prius C service, indicated by the check engine light going on within 30 miles of leaving the service center.
