So the good and the bad of my experience. My 2015 So the good and the bad of my experience. My 2015 Transit Connect with its 2 year old(to the week) battery died. AAA confirmed a bad cell and that So the good and the bad of my experience. My 2015 Transit Connect with its 2 year old(to the week) battery died. AAA confirmed a bad cell and that my alternator and starter were fine. After jump started, I drove to the closest dealership to get things handled. I got there on a random Thursday morning around 10AM. I waited just over a half hour just to be seen by a service writer. That's the BAD. I've never waited for more than a few minutes at any other dealership just to check in. On the good side, they finished the battery swap in the time they said it would take - about 4 hours later, and because the battery was still under warranty, it was a no money out of pocket visit. Sadly, due to the pandemic, there was no shuttle service - which is odd, because we can still Uber. So actually, my visit did cost me two Uber trips to return to work and back that day, so about $25. I'm just glad to have my rig back on the road, and when this battery dies, it's dry cell time! More
