The sales team are the best we have experienced in our new car purchasing history. If we have not met this sales team we will never realize there is such wonderful, honest, and professional sales team ex new car purchasing history. Chris Olson presented very honest and clean, down to the bottom deal and understanding our personal issues. Johni Stoller is super young lady, test drive, and taking time to go thru the detailed new features of this Maxima we are not familar with. Finally we met the excellent and very professional Sales Manager, Thomas Cho with his expertise, patience, understanding, and finally pull thru the deal. We even questioned Thomas Cho how can he being so succussful at his such very young age, he told us just Working Hard. We like Thomas very much with such good working attitude and excellent characters. We were very happy the Sales Manager could resolve all the issues. Overall, we have wonderful car buying experience with OC Nissan - Irvine. We will highly recommend your dealership to anybody we know in the future! More
I have always has excellent service at this dealer until a few months ago when I was trading in my lease. I worked with Leslie Sims. I knew what I wanted, picked out a car and started the paperwork. I was all set to pick up the car assuming all the paperwork was in order. Unfortunately, when I was following up about the paperwork, she never called me back. The receptionist said she was there so I kept leaving messages. I finally talked with someone else 3 days later who profusely apologized and told me to come down and pick up the car. (It turns out that I could have picked it up three days earlier) When I arrived, she greeted me with ZERO apology. I would have taken the business elsewhere if all the paperwork hadn't already been submitted. RUDE. I will continue to go to this dealer because my experiences there have been very positive over the last 7 years with EVERYONE else other than her. More
On Labor Day, 9/6/10, I visited the OC Nissan Irvine dealership. As soon as I got out of my car, Elvis Downs, the Sales Consultant, came over to greet me. I had just come from another dealership where I had the opposite experience and I was feeling a bit tentative. Initially, I wanted to look at the 2010 Versa. As we went over to see the Versa, we passed the 2010 Sentra and I really liked it. Elvis took me out for a test drive in the Sentra first. I had a checklist which I gave him to use during the test. He was so patient and let me go on different roads (freeway, residential, business and even a steep grade). Elvis is so knowledgeable and provided me with so much information about the car. Elvis also has a great personality and professional manner. In addition to being warm and friendly, he has a good sense of humor, which really helped. He was not pushy, nor did he pressure me. He was able to communicate that he really cared that I would be happy with my choice. I prayed that morning that I would get a really good sales consultant and God certainly answered my prayer with Elvis. We did take the Versa out for a short test drive, but I was sold on the Sentra and bought it! Elvis introduced me to his manager, Majid Vahdatiasl, and he was also very helpful and great to work with as we went through the process. My good experience continued even as I met with Robert P. in the finance department. Everyone I met at OC Nissan Irvine are just super people! More
From the moment we walked on the lot, there was no pressure. We were met by the best and dealt with the best. Herbert was initally the one who wanted to give us the deal. He was willing to do whatever we needed to get us in the price range we could afford. Herbert took us on two test drives of the Murano and the Rouge. Very willing to just make us comfortable and allowing us to take our time to make a decision. When stopping back at the dealership we were met with Alex who was also very helpful. He was honest and willing to show us a 2009 Murano so we could see the interior and how it was different from the 2010. After we left that night I went home and did my research. Since I'm a USAA member I was able to use their online car buying guide which allowed me to type in the model I wanted with all the amenities I was looking for and lock in a no haggle price. It referred me to OC nissan Irvine and the next morning Sam called me to try and make a deal. Our next visit we were met with Sam and Ken. Sam was one of the nicest GM's i've ever met. He knew the quote that USAA gave me, he personally took a look at my trade in, and set us up with Ken. Ken took us out on another test drive and he was so laid back. I would have to say with each Nissan employee that we came in contact with we definately felt like we knew them personally which made us feel apart of their family. Sam gave us a great deal on our trade in and a great deal on the price of the Murano. We have no complaint about this dealership. We had such a great experience that I want to find someone who wants a car so they can get a great price like we did. 200% satisfaction!!! If you are in the market for a Nissan, this is the dealership you want to deal with. More
Well, about seven months out of BK we needed to buy a truck. My wife and I decided on purchasing a Nissan Frontier (we were thinking new at the time), but we have had very little experience with Nissan d truck. My wife and I decided on purchasing a Nissan Frontier (we were thinking new at the time), but we have had very little experience with Nissan dealers. Years ago we tried a Nissan dealer in N. OC (near Knotts) and we wound up walking off the lot after having a verbal altercation with quite possibly the worst car salesman in the world. So clearly we weren't going back there. Fortunately we found this website, which led us to OC Nissan in Irvine. I was a bit skeptical at first, figuring many of the good reviews could have been written by the dealership. But it was the only information I had, so we picked up the phone and called Sam, the GM. I told Sam my situation (credit) and what I needed, and also told him that my wife is has a fair amount of industry knowledge (i.e. we knew what to expect as far as interest rate, down payment, etc., and that we needed a straight, no BS deal). Sam was great. Very friendly and straightforward, and no pressure. Good start! We gathered our documents and headed down to the dealer. Once there we met Sam, who hooked us up with Ken "The Doctor" Yates, their most experienced sales rep. Ken lived up to the reviews on this site. Friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure and no BS. Ken showed us some new Frontiers, but then suggested that we check out a used loss-leader type Frontier that only had 2400 miles. It was a perfect fit, and we saved around $6K or $7K versus a new truck. Nathan, the finance director, got us a very fair interest rate considering our recent CH7 discharge. Again, no pressure and no games. Bottom line: We left OC Nissan with a good deal on a good truck, with no pressure and no nonsense. Everyone was as friendly as could be, and we would gladly recommend this dealer. (...glad we found this website also...) More

Unfortunately, at the age of 68 I have been disappointed many times. Except for the folks in your service department. No matter how challenging or difficult the situation was at hand, they have always maintained a very high degree of professionalism, and the willingness to go to any lengths to take care of our Nissan. And to that extent, I always recommend to my friends, and business associates, young and old that your people can be trusted with their car. More

I paid for the services and walked out to my car only to find that both of my license plates were MIA! I asked the guy that had just handed me the key where my plates were, thinking that perhaps someone removed them while performing the services. A few minutes later he returned with the service manager. We were asked if we drove in with plates on the car and I was seriously dumb founded…of course we did! Then we were told that since they weren’t doing any work on my car near either plate that there was no way that anyone there had removed them and that they must have been stolen off the lot and we’d have to go deal with it at the DMV. After experiencing the sheer frustration, a near heart attack (figuratively speaking) and dealing with the service department folks that at first didn’t appear overly helpful, I was angry and momentarily felt violated by the plate theft! I was completely disappointed in the lack of security and quick dismissal of fault. Then, just as we were about to get into a rental car that they ordered (since I couldn’t drive my car without plates!), someone from the front office came walking out with both plates. After a short discussion, it was determined that since there was an identical 350 Z that was headed to the “used” car lot that was also in for service, one of the mechanics had removed my plates, thinking it was the used car that was going up for sale. This ended up being a case of mistaken identity. Needless to say, OC Nissan Irvine was sincerely apologetic for their internal miscommunication. In fact, Denise, the service manager, was so empathetic with us regarding the immense amount of concern, emotional distress, and anxious anticipation that we felt, they bent over backwards to ease the anxiety. Ultimately, we all make mistakes and OC Nissan Irvine did an excellent job making it right with us and I will certainly be back to do business with them again. More
I went to Tustin Nissan and got the bait and switch sales tactic; called Connell and Irvine around noon on Thursday. By 2:00PM he was ready for me to show up at the dealership to look at the car. As I was doing so, I got the first return call from Connell. By 3:30 I purchased my new red Z but Sam had to get it from a dealership in LA County. By 6 the car was on the lot and getting prepped for me to drive away that evening!! Sam and his staff was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. Plain speaking and no hard sell tactics. He went out of his way to get me the car I really really wanted and he got that car to his lot promptly. A great experience, which doesn't happen often when buying cars, and I LOVE MY NEW RED Z!!! Thanks Sam and staff!! More
