Don't make down payment. See papers you are signing I just want to say don't go for any deal at nissan of hawthrone. I had a very bad experience with this dealer. We made a deal to purchase a car at $13k. they asked me make a down payment of $2000 to book car and check my financial approvals (basically a fraud). This money was refundable, I asked before making payment, dealer confirmed the same. After taking $2000 from me they told me that we will give you car at 27% interest rate. I denied to take loan and got ready to buy car by making whole payment. Then they increased the price of car by $1000. I denied then they reduced interest rate to 20% and added charges for several other services which I was not interested. In short they were increasing the price of car. I was not interested so I cancelled the deal. They said YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. they showed me paper where signed, at one place it was written money is non-refundable( BREAK OF TRUST, MISLEADING INFORMATION). Now its more than a week I am calling them, but getting no response. Now they are not returning my money back. PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER .. More

I recently inquired with Nissan of Hawthorne about a vehicle they had advertised on Cars.com and Cargurus.com The car was very low mileage and well pr I recently inquired with Nissan of Hawthorne about a vehicle they had advertised on Cars.com and Cargurus.com The car was very low mileage and well priced. There was no disclaimer on either site indicating that the price they were advertising included a "Loyalty Discount" which required that I had purchased a vehicle from Nissan of Hawthorne within the past 12 months PLUS a trade-in vehicle was required. I spoke with management explaining that deceptive advertising like this is ILLEGAL and is exactly what gives car dealers their "bad name". By posting low low pricing, their vehicles come to the top of all the internet vehicle search sites and get consumer to visit their dealership. People become emotionally invested in the vehicle. Once they arrive at the dealership, however, consumers are told the "truth" about the price, and that the vehicle is actually THOUSANDS more than the advertised price. I did give the dealership the opportunity to "make good" on the price, and I would come down and purchase it right away. They claimed it was a "mistake" by an employee they had fired for this type of advertising. However, in his absence no one had thought to change all their vehicles on several internet vechile sites. This is tacit consent. Saying you have fired someone does not give you free reign to mislead the public. I will be posting this review on other sites, and will file a complaint against Nissan of Hawthorne with the appropriate authorities. More
