Hi Jessie, I am sorry that your recent experience with our Service Department was subpar. We do, however, appreciate the compliments you expressed for our Sales Department. I want to apologize for the state that your vehicle was returned to you in; it should never be returned to you dirtier than when you dropped it off. For that, I would like to offer you a complimentary interior cleaning at your convenience. Unfortunately the issue with your transmission was intermittent; on the multiple test drives taken, the vehicle drove normally, despite having an underlying issue. As a dealership, working with Chrysler’s extended warranty, we are bound to Chrysler’s diagnostic procedures; if a vehicle is acting normally, we must wait for it to malfunction before performing any or any additional repairs. This resulted in you returning three times. We understand that this was an inconvenience to you, and to alleviate that as best as possible, we provided you with a complimentary rental vehicle for the second and third visits. Your extended warranty policy covered five (5) days of rental and the dealership absorbed the additional eight (8) days as a goodwill gesture, for your inconvenience. Regarding the deductible situation, I, once again, would like to apologize for the confusion. We never want to learn something new at the expense of customer satisfaction, and I am afraid that is what happened with this. This was an except situation and we were unfamiliar with the guidelines; going forward, however, this will not happen again, as all team members are now fully aware of the policy. I hope in the future we will be able to demonstrate the type of service that is expected when you come to our dealership.
