I called 3 dealers looking for a 2013 used Chevy Suburban with under 20K miles. My experience with Clare Dodge of Newport was above and beyond expectations. The other dealers were more expensive and not will with under 20K miles. My experience with Clare Dodge of Newport was above and beyond expectations. The other dealers were more expensive and not willing to work with me over the phone. Newport was the furthest dealer from where I live (Duxbury, MA) but I chose them because they gave me the best price, best customer service and extremely pleasant to deal with. Chris Wisowaty was my main contact and at no time during the process did I ever feel like I was being sold a car. I have bought about 10 cars in my lifetime and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I will certainly recommend them to others and they have a customer for life. Go Patriots!!! Walked in with a truecar price protection guarantee and was told that it wasnt worth the paper it was printed on. Mistake or not if someone in my line of work makes a mistake you have to pay for it. I stopped into Clare Jeep yesterday to take a look at a set of AEV wheels they had on a Wrangler in their showroom. Even though I wasn't there to buy a car that day the few guys I spoke to were all extraor set of AEV wheels they had on a Wrangler in their showroom. Even though I wasn't there to buy a car that day the few guys I spoke to were all extraordinarily friendly. They were happy to let me look around the Jeep they had in the showroom with some AEV stuff and all in all it was the best experience I've had at a Chrysler store. Buying my Jeep was a nightmare consisting of dealings with six dealerships in the New York area, none of which I'll ever step foot in again. I went to Clare with the sole intention of seeing the AEV wheels in person and having them shipped to my door in New York, but after meeting the guys there I'll be happy to stop in and pick up my wheels from them on my next trip from Boston to NY. Unfortunately the only name I caught was Chris Kadak, but I'm sure no matter who you speak with they'll change your perception of what a Chrysler store is. More

I was VERY clear with the list of options I wanted in a jeep wrangler. Where do I start. I wanted to work exclusive with these guys, but the following happened. 1) Tried to sale me a vehicle without m jeep wrangler. Where do I start. I wanted to work exclusive with these guys, but the following happened. 1) Tried to sale me a vehicle without my required options 2) They offered to put ONE heated seat in the drivers seat and not passenger for $250, when the factory option is $250 for both! 3) I wanted dual tops, tried to sale me their hard top only. 4) I went out and found the exact vehicle I wanted from another dealer and gave them their bottom line price(full disclosure). These guys never once offered to get that vehicle. 5) After I sent my final out the door price to the other dealer, this dealer then offered me that vehicle and guess what? They wanted to charge me $12 more! This deal could not of been any more simple for these guys to lose. I found the vehicle, I negotiated the price gave them my absolute out the door price, all they had to do was meet my price and it was theirs. And then had the b@lls to tell me it will cost me more in tolls and gas to go pick it up over the bridge. REALLY? 48 miles round trip (2 gallons * 3.75) = $7.50 tolls (0.83 * 2) EZ Pass = $2.49 regular toll: $4.00 Grand total: $13.99 They were right it did cost me $1.99 extra to cross the bridge to get the deal! I was glad to pay the extra $1.99 considering I did all the leg work and pure principle. More

Awesome sales and service! After going through a ridiculous ordeal trying to purchase a car from another dealer, I went to Clare and met a great, well-trained, polite, personable and motivated sales ridiculous ordeal trying to purchase a car from another dealer, I went to Clare and met a great, well-trained, polite, personable and motivated salesman -- Chris W. After I said "no thanks" to one car, Chris had the common sense and sales expertise to ask the right questions. I told him what I wanted and left the dealership. Within 30 minutes, he called and offered a better deal than I had gotten after two weeks of negotiating (a totally unusual experience for me, especially for a car purchase) with another dealer........ Ken, the finance manager, who expedited the purchase process, was also terrific. When I encountered a minor problem with the new vehicle (which turned out to be my error,) I called the service department. With Stephanie's capable assistance, I had another wonderful experience. Highly recommend this dealership staff and salesman!! More
Clare was an excellent dealer. Chris did a great job answering questions and coordinating multiple test drives. He never put any pressure on me or my wife to buy a vehicle.
