Wow! I have never had very pleasant experiences with car dealers before, I was always being shown what THEY wanted me to see or what THEY THOUGHT I would like. When I would ask to see a certain make or mod dealers before, I was always being shown what THEY wanted me to see or what THEY THOUGHT I would like. When I would ask to see a certain make or model, I was always told a million reasons why THEY thought I wouldn't like it. From the moment I talked to Sheena on the phone, I knew this experience was going to be different. She was friendly, down to earth, open and very forthcoming in answering all my questions. The experience got even better when I actually arrived at the dealership and was greeted with a smile and welcoming manners by those in the showroom. After dragging Sheena from one side of the lot and back several times, she did not show impatience at all. She seemed glad to continue to answer my questions and keep going back and forth between models I was interested in. Sheena gave me the impression that she not only listened, but UNDERSTOOD what I was looking for and made sure that she showed me numerous options. I really felt more like I was dealing with a friend that wanted to be sure I was getting what I wanted. When I had narrowed my choices down, I then met with Bob to discuss prices. I never felt that I was being pressured or swayed in any particular way and was treated like an intelligent human being and had my options laid out before me to choose as I liked (thanks Bob!!). With Ken, he was so friendly and open and very clearly explained all the financial matters and answered all of my questions. He didn't try to talk down to me nor did he talk over my head. When it came time to sign the paperwork, I was completely satisfied that I was getting the best possible deal. Saying that they went above and beyond my expectations of a car dealership, would be sorely abusing them considering my expectations were so very low to begin with. I suppose the best and most honest compliment I could pay them would be to say that they should be the role model other dealerships should look to for quality. If I had to do this experience all over again, I wouldn't change anything about them! More

I started as only interested in a possible future purchase of a new Jeep Compass. Not wanting to deal with the "usual" pressures of a new car purchase, I contacted the dealership via internet. Again, very prompt response. I now met with Bob and went for a test drive and loved it. This transaction could not have been easier. They offered me a great trade in on my Jeep Wrangler and I was out the door in no time and with no hassle. I would absolutely recommend Clare Jeep to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle. I was in search of a Jeep Wrangler Arctic Edition vehicle; I search high and low until I received information that Clare Dodge had the vehicle I was looking for. I was a bit skeptical to even call at first due to the fact that I live in New York and the car was in Rhode Island. I didn't want to get the run-around that I got in New York. Many dealerships want you to come and visit them, even if they don't have the vehicle you are looking for, they give you false promises, and say that no matter what it is, they can find the vehicle you are looking for. Which is completely FALSE (for the particular vehicle)! I took a chance and called. I had so many questions and didn't even know where to start. Bob and Sheena were so helpful and patient with me, it honestly felt like I was working with old friends rather than a schemey sale associate. Bob and Sheena went above and beyond my expections. We finalized all the information over the phone and took a drive to pick up my brand new Wrangler. They had all the paperwork ready for me to sign. I think that the whole process took less than 45 mins. Since we didn't expect to be done in such a short amount of time, we had time to sightsee Rhode Island before heading back to New York. Chris was super-friendly and not-at-all pushy from the very first phone call, when I explained what I was and was not looking for. Chris's advice and insights were sound. When it came time to negotiate the deal itself, both Chris and Bob were extremely helpful and reasonable. I was given several options to mull over, re leasing vs. buying, again with no pressure, but some good advice. I also asked a ton of questions and tend to do a lot of agonizing; they were patient and helpful. This all did stand out from some of the other dealerships I visited. This one just felt very friendly and relaxed. Most of which is due to Chris, who went above and beyond, with empathy (I was trading in my very first car), support, and helpfulness -- before, during and after the sale. I know I could drop by and he would still be helpful (because I already have and he already was). Really, a superstar! More

I would highly recommend Chris if you are interested in a Jeep and finding the best way to fit it into your budget.
