This service department is incompetent, charges way too much and has possibly ruined the engine on my brand new $36,500 Toyota 4Runner. More important, this dealer DOES NOT FOLLOW TOYOTA FACTORY SPECS much and has possibly ruined the engine on my brand new $36,500 Toyota 4Runner. More important, this dealer DOES NOT FOLLOW TOYOTA FACTORY SPECS in serving its customer vehicles. I bought a brand new 4Runner from this dealer in part to support the local economy even though Newark Toyotaworld was $700 MORE EXPENSIVE than other dealer offers. In keeping with supporting the local economy, I have been using this dealer to service my vehicle. On the very first use of Newark Toyotaworld -- the company did not follow Toyota Factory specs and used conventional oil to replace the synthetic motor oil in my engine at 2500 miless. (I changed my motor oil earlier than the recommended first interval to better break in my new engine.) The dealer used conventional motor oil even though I requested three different times (1. made the appointment 2. dropped the truck off for service at the dealer and 3. while waiting for service to be completed) for them to use synthetic oil. Assuming that the dealer followed Toyota specs and my multiple requests for synthetic oil, I then drove nearly 9,000 miles before I got my next oil change. (Synthetic oil is good for 10,000 miles whereas conventional oil is in the range of 3,000 to 5,000 miles between oil changes). I didn't find out that Newark Toyotaworld had used conventional oil until I brought my car in for its next oil change! I spoke to Corporate Toyota about the problems at Newark Toyotaworld. Corporate Toyota was very concerned. Running close to 10,000 miles on conventional motor oil between oil changes could damage my engine and shorten its overall life. Nice job, Newark Toyotaworld! And the kicker is that Newark Toyotaworld not ony failed to follow Toyota specs, the dealer is charging $67 for this oil change even though the dealer down the road charges $36.95 for a syntheticc oil change. In other words, these guys are lining their pockets by overcharging their local customers by almost 200%! In closing, do not go to this dealer. The place is horrible and has no regard in properly servicing their clients' investment in their automobiles. On top of everything else, they also overcharge their customers and have no interest in forming lasting relationships with their customers (i.e., very transactional!). More

Lise really takes her time with you and cares about your needs and wants. I will most likely return when I am ready to buy another vehicle in the future. I felt very welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. I would definitely recommended Lise to my friends and family when they are looking to buy new cars. More

This place has to be by far one I the messed up dealers out there! The people there are all rude and have an attitude problem. The service is unorganized, it took and hour to know where my car was at. I co out there! The people there are all rude and have an attitude problem. Lisa. compared an iPhone to a car. People here are unorganized and don't know what they are doing. Last time I buy a car from here, my overall experience was horrible!!!!!!!!!! More

Karin & Eric helped my husband & I lease a 2011 Prius, based on a trade-in of our 2008 Prius. But once contacting Eric and coming to Delaware to see the showroom and test driving the car I was once convince that Toyota is still the car for me. Buying a car was never an enjoyable experience, so finding a dealer that has a good online team was excellent for me. At the dealership I worked with George Hollingsworth and Karin to find a vehicle that was in my price range and had the options I wanted. I was able to purchase a nice vehicle for a good price. I was given fair value for my trade. I would recommend Newark Toyota World's internet team to anyone wishing for a positive purchasing experience. The team of Karin, George and Eric Mosley changed my mind about car sales. More
