Jacob was the leader of the team working on my car. In the end, I needed a part, and so my car had to stay overnight on top of all that. I am a long-time Toyota owner, and a long time customer of Toyota World. Generally, I really get good service at Toyoya Workd, compared with Price Toyota service. This is the first time I feel disappointed. You can read my past reviews. They were all good. And what happened to the days where my car would get vacuumed and washed? My the labor part of my bill was also very expensive when compared to the work accomplished. I had recommended Toyota World to my boyfriend who has a Honda. He has been very impressed with your work until this visit as well. More

BUT---Never before had I been told I'd have a 3 hr wait time for regular service. Good thing I brought busy work to do. Fresh coffee was made even thought it was after 3 PM. Hmmmmmm sure needed it after hearing the wait time. Would be nice if the car wash was kept operating. My van was expecting to get a much needed wash but it's still waiting. Maybe today... More

My advisor, During a recent visit to Newark Toyota World for 50K service (oil change), I was left wondering what exactly took place during the visit. My advisor, Jeffrey Sherrod, told me that in addition to the oil change service, they would perform a complimentary fluid analysis, and a "mutli-point" safety inspection. I asked that the tire pressures be checked as the recent cold weather had cause them to register as "low" on the pressure warning system. When the service was completed, I was surprised to see that my invoice included a $15 labor fee in addition to the oil change service costs. I was also informed that the car wash was not in service that day;but that they "didn't think I would take my car through that anyway". A few minutes down the road, I noticed that the tire pressures were all reading the same as when I arrived. Hmm? Then when I reviewed the "multi-point" inspection document closer I saw that the pressures were set to 35 each and that the battery was not checked. I wondered was going on, so I called and left a message for the service advisor, Jeffrey Sherrod. That was 10 days ago and I have not received a return call. . How can I have any faith in what was done to my vehicle during this visit? More

Just when you thought they couldn't improve on the great service they prove you wrong. On my recent trip for routine maintenance I was blown away by the remodeled service department and waiting area. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing but their customer service was also stepped up a notch. They treated me like I was valued repeat customer in a Lexus dealership. I recommend this dealership to anyone who has a Toyota to use this dealership for all of your service needs. More

Long Day. I had an appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday. I arrived at 9 am and was greeted very professionally. Wes was very helpful and was able to describe the I had an appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday. I arrived at 9 am and was greeted very professionally. Wes was very helpful and was able to describe the issues I was having with my "new to me" Rav4. The service department was very through in trying to find what was causing the issues I was experiencing and when Wes came out he let me know they had not forgotten me but were having a hard time pinning down what the issues were. When he finally was able to tell me what was wrong he was very informative and because the the mileage and length of time I had the vehicle was able to cover a portion of the cost. He then was going to call my sales person to discuss the other issue they had found as it would not have been covered under the "normal" coverage of a used vehicle. I let him know that I had a 2 yr bumper to bumper warranty and gave him the paperwork for said warranty. He made the necessary calls and found the warranty company needed further information before approving fixing of the issue. Wes said he would contact the person who takes care of the inspection paperwork for the dealership so they could send it on to the warranty company. He said that this would be done on Monday and he would call me to make an appointment to fix the 2nd issue. As of today, I have not heard back from the service department. I made contact with my sales person yesterday and he told me he would look into and get back to me. I have not had any communications from him as of this afternoon. I spent from 9 am to almost 2:30 pm in the waiting area of the service department. The folks were really friendly and helpful. I was able to have lunch (pizza) that was supplied by the service department. Hopefully, I won't have a long wait when going in to have the 2nd portion of my issues fixed. More
