Thanks for your feedback! I can appreciate your concern about the transmission service we performed on your car. As with many other services on cars, some vehicles may benefit having services completed prior to the recommended interval, due to different driving patterns (city versus highway versus suburbs or combination) and sometimes there doesn't seem to be any logical explanation for the condition of the fluid in a particular vehicle. The technicians are supposed to be looking at color, smell, and presence of foreign matter- most likely metal flakes. Any of these conditions could cause a tech to recommend a service! Although it is an expensive service, it is significantly cheaper than a transmission repair in the future!
