15k Service & clutch replace Brought my 2015 Tacoma in for 15k service and a second complaint about manual trans issue (clutch slipping). Lucked out with regional service tech be Brought my 2015 Tacoma in for 15k service and a second complaint about manual trans issue (clutch slipping). Lucked out with regional service tech being at Newark Toyota for another vehicle so he looked at mine. They quickly diagnosed the issue (this time) and gave me a complimentary rental car until the truck was ready. They new clutch totally fixed the issue - the truck finally drives right (after a year of owning it). My first complaint are that they could not diagnose the problem when I was in describing it 4 months ago. My second complaint is that the technician did not properly protect the interior of the drivers side floor and the truck was returned to me with oil/grease on the kick plates and 1 week old factory floor mats that I had just put in. Luckily the floor mats were all weather type and I was able to clean them off with some high strength cleaning solutions once I got home. More

Broken radio...... Appointment was made for radio/Bluetooth/ computer screen not working in 4 year old car. Arrived at dealership and service advisor introduced himself Appointment was made for radio/Bluetooth/ computer screen not working in 4 year old car. Arrived at dealership and service advisor introduced himself and said " let's take a walk around the car to check the lights". This seemed odd since I was not there with a light problem and he had not asked me what was wrong with the car. We walked around the car and he said lights ok. He then opened the hood and pointed to a slight vibration and said that wasn't good. He also pointed to the battery terminal with a little corrosion on it and said this was bad and did I want the battery service. I asked if there was a charge and he said yes, $39.95, I declined. I had already told him I had a local mechanic that I had used for years and trusted, but he could not fix a complicated issue like the navigation screen. The advisor tried to convince me to change to Toyota for all my service. He then said, let's go inside and write this up. I asked him if he wanted to know what was wrong with the car and why I was there. He looked surprised and said yes. I then showed him the malfunctioning computer screen/radio. He said they would check it out and call me. Next day I called and turns out my 4 year old car needs a new radio/ navigation system. He gave me an estimate and said what they had already used in labor time diagnosing the problem. I felt the labor time was high but since my local mechanic could not fix this computer problem I told him to proceed. I was told the radio had to be ordered and to come get the car for now. My husband picked up the car and was asked to prepay for the services and parts, which he did. When he got home I looked at the bill and attached there was a page for all the routine maintainence things they checked like tires and brakes. No wonder the labor was high. I asked for none of this. There were boxes checked as to potential future needs as a way to sell service I assume. I will take my car back to get the radio fixed but will never go there for service I can get from my mechanic. I felt they use time I did not authorize looking for issues to fix. More

Every time I've been there everyone I've met has been very friendly, helpful and competent. Wes Harrison took care of my car the last time I was there and he was very friendly and helpful. A few weeks before I couldn't get the women on my GPS to stop talking. Wes was very patient and helpful in walking me through the process of turning her off and helping me to get more acquainted with the GPS. I would give your dealership an A+. More
