Pleasant experience I brought my truck in for scheduled maintenance and was shown to waiting area with a nice spread of donuts and bagels. It sat there overnight with a slow leak, that's probably why the tech didn't see it at the time. The tire has been slowly losing air over the last two days, I could not bring it back to Newark Toyota because it requires too much coordination because of my job (40 miles) and residence (20 miles), so I brought it to a place on base where I work. The pressure stem apparently was leaking. Had to have it replaced. I am not too concerned about it however, the Rav4 and Newark Toyota have been excellent with their service over the last number of years from my experience, will continue to have service performed by them. More

While I was waiting, it was very comfortable in the new waiting area. The service rep was very helpful in explaining everything. Everyone was helpful and more importantly PLEASANT which you do not always get from a customer service perspective in other places. I have NO complaints whatsoever! EXCELLENT!! More

I only had two small issues that if approved would make my experience outstanding. The first issue I has was making an appointment. I called to make an appointment to bring my car in for its 25,000 routine maintenance on Friday and was told that they were all booked and the first appointment I could have was at 2pm on Saturday. The second minor issue was that when I picked-up my car I noticed that they forgot to reset the service warning light. I returned the next day and it was immediately reset. More
Women are not welcome! This past weekend I took my car to Toyota for an oil change and filter change. I asked them to check the brakes since there was a metallic sound. Afte This past weekend I took my car to Toyota for an oil change and filter change. I asked them to check the brakes since there was a metallic sound. After about an hour of waiting for the change.. The assistant manager comes out and advises my back brakes are gone(not front and can't explain why back brakes were gone before front when I got them all changed at the same time recently) he proceeded to say the rotors were rusted. We discussed using my $129 coupon for the brakes and they will clear rust from rotors. As per the coupon. Labor was included in brake change- front or back. Needless to say.. When I got the bill.. It was almost $400. The service manager and I went over the bill and he did deduct $60 but still didn't explain the over charge. I called and asked for the head manager and left a message. Needless to say. The same assistant manager called me back offering 2 free oil changes. That does not explain the addition $185labor and $12.95 charged to clean the rust from the rotors. Slick talker thinks this is the end.. Not by far! I guess woman are stupid and money grows on trees to Toyota. Chris.. Woman are smart and know about cars too! Shame on you for being a silver tongue. No your coupons didn't resolve the overcharge issue!!! More
