Made us feel at home and was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. His boss, manager Jeff Ickes was great also. This was the best experience I've ever had buying a car plus I had to do this without my husband and they took great care of me. I love my new Camry by the way! Definitely will recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle! Thanks guys More

Tires had 5/32" tread on them all the way around, almost worn out, may get another 10,000 on them if I'm willing to not let anyone I care about drive my car. They tried to sell me a re balance, NO-One re-balances tires, that's a total load of bull and a way for them to up-sell. Even if it was common practice to re-balance tires, you wouldn't waist money on tires with virtually no life. Everyone gets you on the rotation, that's not really a big deal, I want them to check the brakes, (something that's in their multi point inspection anyway) but I know they don't check them if you don't pay for the rotation. They have to take the tires off to check the brakes, so they would have to put them back on, they want to charge you to put them back on in a different order than they took them off for the brake inspection. It's okay, but if you include brake inspection in your multi point inspection "included" with the oil change, don't charge for a rotation, just do it, it's the right thing. I had a $1.99 marker bulb out, generously a 2 minute job (more like 30 seconds), $24 in labor to replace it, a bit high if you ask me, but hey maybe mechanics really do bill $720 an hour, not a mechanic I want to go to. Finally this was the icing on the cake, they told me I needed to flush my brake fluid. MAJOR RED FLAG!!!! It's not a race car, and there is no way it could adsorb enough moisture in 3 years to need replacing. If you were extremely meticulous about maintenance on your car you would replace the brake fluid after about 10 years, but even then it's a bit excessive. These types of service are red flags because they can be sold to people, and never completed, and hard to inspect for a complete flush (1-2 hr job) vs a top off (1-2 min job). No one re balances tires No one charges $720 an hour to work on economy cars And absolutely no one flushes practically new brake fluid. They used to be reputable, now they are worse than the corner garage. Up sell for services not needed as if they are absolutely critical is a major turn off. Oh and they couldn't find my keys when I came to pick the car up. More

The representative explained what service would be performed and the cost He also said it would take two or more hours. Since the cost met the requirements for a rental he set me up with one. Phoned me when work was completed and checked me out when I came back to pick up my car. No hassles except that the car wash was not working and that I would have to return in a day or two to get it washed. More
Maintenance I value my car a lot. So I want the best quality work performed on it. Safety is a concern since I have 4 kids. The service team told me the work that I value my car a lot. Took me back to the shop area, showed me what had to be replaced. I am grateful for their honesty and clarity in explaining the work to me More
Poor customer service for a previously happy customer Quite unhappy with service for several reasons. I had a minor dent on my driver's side door. It cost me $670 out of pocket because my deductible is $5 Quite unhappy with service for several reasons. I had a minor dent on my driver's side door. It cost me $670 out of pocket because my deductible is $500. No insurance involved. I was also confined to my house for 3 days because I elected not to rent a car because of cost. When I picked up my car, I noticed that the "Limited" sign wasn't replaced (I had to pay extra for this because they said they had to order a new one; couldn't put the old one back on). When I mentioned this (clearly no QC), they put it on in a very rushed manner; I just hope it was done right. No apology was offered. Then, I tried to redeem a coupon from Newark Toyota World that I had received in the mail. They told me I couldn't do this because they would be audited by the insurance co. When I said the insurance co. wasn't involved and I was paying for this out of my own pocket (surely they knew this from our conversations and their invoice), there was no explanation; just an uncomfortable silence. Then I tried to use my Toyota World points. At first, they told me they could do this, but after they entered all my information, they told me I would have to spend $1000 in order to earn any points. I have previously earned points on a $39.99 oil change, and now I had just spent $670! I mentioned this, along with the fact that I been a Toyota World customer since 2011 when I purchased my RAV4. I have had all my service done there as well, and recently purchased 4 new tires. They didn't care at all and made no effort to help me. I am extremely disappointed and will now take my business elsewhere. Until this very disappointing experience, I have been happy with Newark Toyota World, but they changed this. Also, Marlon Hercules said the body shop is not affiliated Wirth Newark Toyota World, so they didn't have to honor any of these offers. You just lost a good customer. More
