I truly was NOT expecting to get a car (it is a Christmas gift!), but.... Cidalia Millham spent a LOT of time showing us the various Lexus models and test driving with us the 350ES and the 300h ES. Having previously owned a Prius we had a lot of questions about the hybrid, and she could answer all of them to our satisfaction. I loved the 300h, especially with all the safety features, the blind spot detection warnings, and excellent rear visibility, but wanted a car in RED. I LOVED the idea of once again having a smart key! Cidalia hunted around for us and found a 300h in Matador Red Mica with all the features we wanted at (for Lexus!) an excellent price. She was very responsive to any questions and to handling as much of the transaction as possible by email and phone. Before we made the second trip to Latham she made sure all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed. When we arrived on the delivery date she and the rest of the dealership staff were ready to make sure we were familiarized with the car and ready to go. She promised to follow up in a couple of days, which she did--apparently one feature we were wondering about (the lane change detection) is on the car, but we just needed to figure out how to turn it on. She researched this for us, and got back to us right away with this information. It has been a pleasure working with her. More
Largest investment, turned into Largest Regret! For one of the largest financial commitments ive ever made, this has been BY FAR the WORST experience EVER. And I LOVE my truck....so this has just been my experience with this dealership, and the fact they are far from professional. So to start, salesmen gave price etc, and I told him I didn't have title in hand, told no problem just xtra form, we agreed. signed initial paperwork. Told me truck had to be INSPECTED (some "point" inspection, fluids brakes etc) and detailed, then ready for p/u. THREE times I came to dealership and it was always something, hadn't been inspected, finance hadn't had a chance someone quit today...so on and so on. so after SEVEN days they said come after work to pick up. OK GREAT! get to dealership, hadn't even been put thru yet! At this point they had already removed my jeep from my insurance and added GMC. Finance pushed through (at added 100 a month from original price) but at this point the insurance ETC was switched and my 4 year old was exhausted. THEN they come out and say oh you don't have a title sorry we cant do this, so we battled as they already switched my insurance info, some new policy of theres started 3 days prior to p/u, but since deal started 7 days ago and I told them, they let me take truck home. So 4 days later I call as it squeeks, mechanic informs me TRUCK WAS NEVER IN FOR SERVICE!!! just detailed. So went to other dealership for check, breaks had been down to rotors and oil was at 21% (When I called to ask they rudely said " Its not a preowned Lexus".....well you said it would be checked and serviced prior to me getting it, and im sorry my 30k investment wasn't large enough for you) . I was Irate but just let it go, as I couldn't handle anymore nonsense. Fast forward THREE WEEKS I getting a letter from insurance, when the dealership switched my jeep for my truck, then said I couldn't initially take it home, they put the jeep back on...then NEVER PUT THE GMC on when I did, in fact take it home. so I had been driving for 3 weeks with an uninsuranced truck!!! So another 2 weeks goes by, I get a letter from DMV my Jeep is still registered not the new truck!! no im livid!! and my temporary has expired....without a call or word from dealership!! So I keep calling them, to be told oh no its here BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL AND PAY ANOTHER FEE??? First of all, why wouldn't you call me, why am I reaching out to you...second I have my contract in front of me...it clearly says 21$ for inspection and 67 for new registration....salesmen responds a while latter...sorry you did actually pay. I finally get my mail Saturday...and guess what!! this reg expires in 20 days!! I called DMV they said if they did a transfer its 10$ and would be on schedule with last car, however the 67$ I paid should've renewed for 2 years. Im sick im tired and I need someone else involved. I have the contract, as well as every email with insurance etc, and every text message from dealership to prove the above. Contacted BBB as well. Maybe as many complaints as possible until this is fixed will get them to respond to me and fix this! There is ZERO excuse for this kind of treatment and service. All I wanted was paperwork in order, and the car to be in working road safe condition. I recieved my final settlement and I can hands down say, my partner will no longer be getting the NX he really wanted, but we will be going to Langdan AUDI for all future luxury busisness More
A truly remarkable techie When I bought my NX200t this spring, I was somewhat daunted by the knowledge of the digital age needed to get the most of all the capabilities built i When I bought my NX200t this spring, I was somewhat daunted by the knowledge of the digital age needed to get the most of all the capabilities built into the car. I'm also new to the I phone, something that had been recommended to me by my salesman, in order to take the greatest advantage of the car's features. I use the I phone to play Pandora in the car, and also use an I pod as a music source. The dilemma was that even though both were properly connected to the vehicle, the can would only recognize one of them. During my previous New Country visit, one of the customer reps quickly showed me how to address that problem. It worked for a short time, and then I was back to the former problem. Since I didn't know how the customer rep achieved the fix, I couldn't replicate it. This week I was again at NC and posed the issue to a different customer rep, P.J. Yando. He said that the best way to resolve the problem was to involve one of the tech reps. He introduced me to Corey Sheehan, who spent considerable time showing me the nature of the problem, and helping me understand it, so that I could prevent the issue it in the future. Kudos to both P.J. and Corey" P.J. for knowing that tech help was needed; and Corey for his thorough explanation of what caused the problem and how to address it in the future. Both of them also went out of their ways to let me know that they were more than willing to help in the future should other problems arise. As a former teacher, I give them both A+. Horrible Car Detailing Service (money is west) I had my car detailing service done from there. They did just a simple out site wash. When I picked up the car it was wet because they drove the car to service center from out site while it was raining. The car’s interior was not even polished, mates were not shampooed, dashboards were not cleaned, and not car freshener inside. Outside of the car was not buffed or, clean properly, no towel dry. Next day, I took it back, but the manager was rude and defensive, and kept telling me for $149.99 + tax = $160, that is the service they offer and did not take it bake for rework. I am very disappointed, this is not a detailing service; I could have gotten better carwash from any professional car wash service. More
