Horrible experience While browsing online, I fell in love with a grey, 2018 Maxima with 41k miles @ Neil Huffman. After calling and being laughed at because of my said bu While browsing online, I fell in love with a grey, 2018 Maxima with 41k miles @ Neil Huffman. After calling and being laughed at because of my said budget, it took weeks for someone to call me back. Once I finally spoke to someone, I went to test drive the Maxima. The sales rep that I spoke to was the same one that did not return any of my calls, so I requested to speak to a different salesman. While there, I was told that due to Covid, no one else was available to assist me. I went forward with the said Salesman. I should have listened to my gut, but NO, I had to purchase it because I was in love with this car. It then, all went bad. 2 days after my purchase, my push-to-start button fell into the dash and my car ran for 2 hours before I finally got someone on the line, I literally had to take pliers and break the seal around the button in order to pull it out of the dash so I could cut the car off. After numerous calls, I finally got an appointment, for 3 days later. This issue was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Going into having the car for 45 days, my steering wheel begun to shake while breaking, I called the Service department for days, with no answer nor call back, so I missed a day of work to "POP-UP",. I was told that from my description, it sounded like I needed rotors and break pads @ 41k miles and that it would cost me $275. I was to leave my car there for 24-48 hours to have it fixed, pay the sum and still find a ride to home/work, 40 miles away, as a loaner was not offered. Now at 60+ days in, I had a new yet worse issue to handle, before I could even address the Maxima's rotor-break issue. While driving to work, my check engine light came on @45k, I could not accelerate over 40mph, so I called the service department and left several messages, but was unable to drive the 40 miles to the dealership due to the car not going over 40 MPH and the "Check engine " light blinking. I drove it to a nearby Dealership and was told that the Ignition Coil has gone out @45k miles. I had to pay $369 to get it fixed. 3 weeks since I got the ignition coil fixed and after I'd left numerous voicemails, I still haven't received a call back from a Service Rep @ Neil Huffman to check the status of the vehicle nor to ask if I need any assistance. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING A USED VEHICLE FROM THEM! MY CAR IS A 2018 AND I HAVE SPENT OVER $500 HAVING ISSUES FIXED, NO ONE ANSWERS IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, NOR RETURNS CALLS. AND THE STAFF IS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. I PURCHASED THE CAR LATE APRIL 2020. More
Terrible Customer Service Around June 11th my husband brought our 2016 Altima to Neil Huffman as the transmission went out and this is where we had purchased the vehicle. They informed us that instead of replacing the entire transmission they would rebuild it, okay. On June 19th, we got the call that our vehicle was ready to be picked up. When my husband arrived he did not make it out of the parking lot before it stopped working again. They told him they would keep it and work on it some more but that they did not have a car for him to drive as they had already given the rental back and he would have to wait until Monday, June 22nd for another one. While waiting a car salesman even tried to convince my husband to buy a new car so that he would not have to wait on the woman working to drive him down the street to meet my father. She did not have to do that and it was appreciated but we were still disappointed as we live in Lexington, he works in Paris and he would have to drive again to Frankfort to pick up a rental, but we chalked it up. On July 2nd Huffman attempted to call my husband around 4:30 pm he missed the call but called them back within 15 minutes and no one answered. He then called twice on July 3rd but again no answer or returned phone call. On Monday July 6th he received a phone call that the car was ready but that we owed them for 5 days driving the rental car. He refused as he had attempted to reach them 3 times since their phone call on Thursday afternoon. The lady was completely rude and said well I guess we will have to eat the costs for the 5 extra days for the rental car. Keep in mind this lady has had an attitude the entire time, and spoke down to my husband like he was bothering her when calling to ask questions about the progress of our vehicle. Tuesday July 7th he made the trip back to Frankfort to get the car and immediately noticed a the car making a noise that it had not made before, he called Huffman but they told him they wouldn't be able to look at it for at least a week or two. The next day he called back and spoke to a manager he said to bring it back to Huffman and they would look at it and for all the trouble he would do an oil change as well for free, so on July 9th the vehicle was returned to Huffman. Finally yesterday, July 13th he was told to come get the car that it was not making any noises. When he got there the lady he had been dealing with, the mechanic and two other mechanics were standing there and told him there was no sound, he offered to drive them down the street to hear it but they refused and told him there was nothing they could do. At this point we are so disgusted with Neil Huffman we will never go back there again not even for a mere oil change, which by the way they also did not complete as they said they would. He has made the trip from Paris to Frankfort to Lexington multiple times now and the car is still not fixed. I myself drove the car today to work and I heard the sound Huffman said didn't exist before I even pulled completely out of the driveway. We bought this car brand new from Huffman and honestly when the salesman proposed a new car to my husband we considered it for a few days, but now I can say I am glad we did not purchase another car from this dealership as their customer service is unacceptable and they have shown they do not care for their customers or the quality of their work. Neil Huffman is giving a bad name for Nissan and I am embarrassed to have any ties with them. More

The General Manager gave me a proposal I felt was very good, compared to my other offers. I went into the store and purchased. Larry our salesman was very professional taking care of all our questions, and explaining details. Highly recommend this dealership. I went there because my sister purchased a vehicle from them and had to have warranty work for a leak, and she was very happy with her service. More
