Took the car in & they called in the pm said car was ready. An hour later when I got there it was not ready & i had to wait another hour to finally get my car. Service rep was great and did his job well, but obviously something was lacking in communication between recall and oil change service. Devon was very courteous and accommodating, but the system needs work. They did get the service done, though. More
Great Overall Experience In more than 50 years of car buying, I have never had a better experience than my most recent purchase - a 2019 Outback Touring from Downtown Subaru. In more than 50 years of car buying, I have never had a better experience than my most recent purchase - a 2019 Outback Touring from Downtown Subaru. My salesman, Bob Wood, was personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. There was obvious interest on his part to sell me a car, but no pressure. When I decided to buy and which model best fit my needs, he guided me through the steps of the process. Finally, he patiently went over the tech features of the car ( there are a lot) so that I could customize the driving experience for my individual preferences. I give my highest rating to Bob and to Downtown Subaru. More

The main issue I have is having to make an appointment a month and a half in advance. The service advisor was helpful to have a nice waiting area if you’re waiting. very expensive $$$$ but at least it was done by a factory tech. More
Recall of air valve on Impreza I received the recall in the mail in January and called to schedule. I was not able to get an appointment until March 4th. I made arrangements with I received the recall in the mail in January and called to schedule. I was not able to get an appointment until March 4th. I made arrangements with my daughter to bring the car down, get half way downtown and was called and told they would not be able to get to it. I asked if I could go ahead and bring it in for an oil change, they said sure and did do that. However, would not price match sign they had out front for $29.99, I paid close to $90. After calling several times to reschedule the recall and getting the run around I was scheduled out in June. I finally had to get my father in law to go down there to find out what was going on. We were put in touch with Thomas the service manager. He told me to bring it down the following wednesday, I arrived, and there was no record that I was coming. After sorting that out, they did send me to enterprise to get a rental car at subarus expense. Two weeks had gone by and I called to check on the progress, no call back or updates. My father in law went down again and that is when we were introduced to Ashley. She did stay in contact but my car literally sat in the shop for 4 weeks before it was touched. I also had bought a new starter from Subaru parts department and asked if that could be done as well. They did not do that, not sure if they just didn't want to or what. I returned the part to get my money back. Communication is severely lacking, the service manager does not care. I suggest if you are using them to get in touch with Ashley right off the bat, that will be the only hope you have for any communication. The only reason this is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because Ashley did her best to keep me updated. More
Appointment for brake light recall and Oil Change Received notice Forester recalled for brake light malfunction - called asking for time required and also scheduled oil change. Arrived at appointed t Received notice Forester recalled for brake light malfunction - called asking for time required and also scheduled oil change. Arrived at appointed time and was told my service needs would require some 2 hours plus of waiting time. I had been advised by phone the time frame would be about 1 1/2 hour max. I have health issues and am not able to be away from home for extended periods of time. After a number of excuses as to why (1) there was no way I was told the services would be about 1 1/2 hours and (2) due to the population increase in Nashville their service department was very busy - among others - I opted to have the recall service performed and left. I have since e-mailed the Service Manager and have not heard back from him. More

Well for the 2nd time two simple tasks - Air pressure not cor Nashville's Downtown Subaru presents its service as done by factory trained technicians. Well for the 2nd time two simple tasks - Air pressure not correctly adjusted after tire rotation and the next service reminder windshield cling tag was set for three thousand miles and three months. Subaru specs clearly state oil change interval to be 6,000 miles. Consistency is normally considered a positive, but when results are consistently wrong, it is a time to locate another Subaru service department. More

We needed a regular oil change/tire rotation, quick recall repair, and body shop estimate for a mishap on the interstate. Dan let me know upfront they would need to keep the car overnight since each service request would require a visit to a different shop. He kept me updated throughout the day and my car was ready first thing the next morning, the service and recall were completed and Dan provided a full estimate for the body repairs. Overall a great experience. More

I di Received recall notice in March 2019, was scheduled 2 months later for May 2019. Was advised the recall process would take 4 hours to complete. I didn’t get my car back for 2 days and the glovebox was improperly assembled. Called the service manger, Thomas and he was apologetic and offered me oil change, detail of car and to fix the glovebox. I requested this in writing and have to receive it. Multiple calls and voicemails were left for Thomas and the GM Timothy and no response received. Poor customer service overall. More
