WORST Car Buying Experience Ever! To make a long story short, on 8/24/17 my daughter and I went to this car dealership. I went to test drive a used car and my daughter was interested i To make a long story short, on 8/24/17 my daughter and I went to this car dealership. I went to test drive a used car and my daughter was interested in buying a car of her own in her name. One of the Sales Reps and I agreed to a 2-car deal. A new 2017 car for my daughter and the used car I test drove for me. We were also promised free oil changes, car washes, tire rotations, and rebates with no down payment. After lengthy negotiations, the sales rep had my daughter sign a paper and I was asked to sign under her name. I complained that my name should not be on any of her paperwork. The sales rep said the bank would not approve a 2-car deal without my signature. I assumed that meant in order for the 2-car deal to go thru I had to co-sign for my daughter. He also said that he had to trick the bank to get the deal approved. After signing that first paper (which we never got a copy of) the sales rep said I had to come with him into the finance office and sign the rest of the paperwork. I was still complaining that my name should not be on my daughter's paperwork for her car. The finance mgr repeated what the sales rep said which was, "After she makes 3 or 4 on time payments, she could come in and refinance the loan and take your name off." After I finished signing the paperwork, I was given an envelope already prepared and told my copies were in it. I DID NOT receive copies of the paperwork that I just signed! Nor was my daughter or I told who the lein holder was going to be. We asked and was told it would come in the mail. My deal for the used car was never discussed. It was 9 PM and they were closing. We were given the keys and we drove the car home. When I got home and reviewed the paperwork, MY NAME was used as the owner of the car. Not my daughter's name. Her name was not on any of the paperwork! So we took the car back on 8/26/17 to cancell the contract. They refused to accept the keys and said I could not cancell because I had signed a contract. I told them I had 3 days to cancell any contract. They disagreed. The car was still on the dealership's lot as of 9/14/17. I had a third party person investigate my complaint of consumer fraud and deceptive practices. The General Mgr said I was the only person contracting to buy the car I was tricked into signing for. They now say my daughter was never a buyer or co-buyer for this car purchase. And that I was the only person trying to buy this car which is a bald-faced lie! And because they have a signed contract, there is nothing I can do. It's my word against theirs! More

Nikola [Nick] Nikolov was a pleasure to deal with, and his patience was greatly appreciated. I ended up test driving my vehicle twice to ensure it's what I wanted, and worked within my budget to ensure I had the vehicle I needed for the price I wanted. The staff itself was kind, the coffee was appreciated (it's the little things!) and the dealership itself was very clean and tidy. I've already recommended Elmhurst Kia to my friends who are in the market for a great vehicle with a warranty that's hard to beat! More

Was given a price for my car over the phone and they did not honor their agreement. Even though they really wanted my car. I walked out with the vehicle but it was after 3 hrs. The salesman, Nick, put me in the car with absolutely no demonstration in the features of my new car. More

Not the greatest experience I ever had, but pretty good Let me start by saying Kyle Gonzalez was EXTREMELY professional about the situation at hand. In addition to this, Kyle was friendly, geniune, honest, Let me start by saying Kyle Gonzalez was EXTREMELY professional about the situation at hand. In addition to this, Kyle was friendly, geniune, honest, and truly caring of my needs. We had spent at least 5 days back and forth on the phone as I was dealing with another Kia dealership to acquire the best possible deal. When I recieved word from Kyle that management gave the "ok" on the payment amount and term I had requested, I went back to the dealership. At this point its past 9, Kyle is still clearly holding his composure even though the shop has closed. I did not meet with the fiance director until 9:45 PM who I may add was awesome as well. However, the problem was "management" had gone home already. Now, I have been in sales for over 14 years of my life and not once has any of my management left for home due to a client being in the store or bank after posted open hours. Whether they are there from 5,6,7,8 AM until 9 PM, it gives no excuse to leave your finance director and salespeople in charge of making decisions to the point where they have to call the General Manager at 10:30 PM to seek approval. That was ridiculous. I felt horrible for the finance director that he had to make that call because the management team decided to leave when they saw me sitting in the finance director's office. Just for the record, the term agreed to, which Kyle and his management knew was 3 years, also known to the ENTIRE WORLD as 36 months. When I was calculating numbers on the financial documents, they did not add up. As I asked the finance director, what term do you have this based on, he proceeded to say 39 months. I told him there was a discrepenacy and to call Kyle over as my term agreement was 3 years which is when he told me, "39 months is considered 3 years." Pure fishing tactic. I took the bait so I am at fault there. However, I was not going to let it go which was why he had to make a call at 10:30 PM to Elmhurst Kia's General Manager as I was ready to walk away at that point. After agreed settlement, I walked out with a new car and Kyle STILL stayed with me and showed me all the features. I know he has to "deliver" the car to me but seriously, the man went above and beyond. He did not have to do all that for me but he chose to by sticking around until midnight with me until I knew where all the bells and whistles were and what they do. 5 STARS for my guy KYLE!! Management, I will leave unrated. Perhaps they can learn a few things from their BEST salesman, Kyle Gonzalez. More
