Buying a car for most people (including me) can be a stressful experience. It’s hard to wade through all of the different models and options and prices. After a ton of research, I made a decision to purchase an electric vehicle, but also needed something large enough to carry any combination of four grandchildren and/or two dogs and family and friends. After doing my homework, I am so happy that I chose to purchase an EV9 from Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I decided on the Kia EV9 because of its safety rating, size, and electric design. I went on a quest to locate one close by in Chicago where I live. I went to a Chicago dealership, but they didn’t have any in stock and the salesperson was not very knowledgeable about EVs in general. After a long hunt, I found the vehicle and trim I was looking for at Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I researched the VIN number to learn where it was made (in the US!) and called to set up a time to see it the next morning. My salesperson, Drinor Haziri, was outstanding. He took me for a test drive and immediately showed he was not only very knowledgeable about this particular vehicle, but about EV cars in general. He offered a comparison of other options, including the Acura ZDX, also available at their dealership. In the end, it was the size, strong ride and mileage capacity in the EV9 that sold me. Drinor never pressured me, but offered the sales approach that served me best. The next step in the process (which is usually the most painful) was the finance office. My sales manager, Marius, was phenomenal. Again, very knowledgeable, but most important he was very transparent in the process. He had a clear picture of my financial situation and personal considerations and helped me make a sound decision. When I showed him a comparable price at a dealership 100 miles away, he matched it. Financing was quick and painless. I also appreciated how easy it was to reach him, even after the sale. I think Marius may have moved to a different dealership, but even now, when I had a question, I was able to reach a different finance manager at Napleton, Kissy, and she helped me immediately. But the highlight of my experience, the icing on the cake, was working with Martin. He is their ‘closer’, making sure each new owner is knowledgeable and prepared about the workings of their car before they leave. I have never owned an electric car and he taught me about charging and adaptive driving/breaking and all of the systems in my new EV9. I have returned twice on my own to meet with him to continue learning about various components of the car. Having him part of my purchase process made all the difference in my satisfaction going forward. This man is a hidden gem!! I have owned my EV9 (now named “Zeus”) for nearly a year. I absolutely love this car and the way it drives, and have not had a single issue with it. If I do, I feel confident Kia Napleton will make it right. If you are looking for a new car, Kia Napleton should be your first and last stop. More

I could not believe how personable, helpful, and kind Justin Hermansen was to me today. (Jeez, I felt embarrassed looking like a confused, elderly woman.) As I walked into service, there he was again at the desk smiling broadly at me welcoming me inside as my service rep. Incredible kindness and service. Unheard of these days, right? Next, he gave me his card and said if I needed any more help, I should contact him directly. Napleton KIA, this dear knight of decency to a complete stranger should at least get a bonus, don't you think? More

Dealer has lost service records for cars after computer systems upgrade (so I was told). Expect to get services you completed to be suggested again, unless you know your service records. Working in technology myself, this lack of maintaining records to assure car is maintained is a complete failure. Guess it's a trust nothing and will you be out of warranty should you not complete requirements? More

Fraudulent, bait & switch tactics. Extremely disappointing. I had done my research, made an appointment to see 2 new 2025 SUVs I was deciding between: the Telluride & Sorento. I showed up for my appt and they gave me a new inexperienced salesperson to help me. I am a 47F, to help paint the picture. I was ready to make a purchase, but needed more info on the vehicles, so I asked to speak with a more knowledgeable sales person. He brought in Angel to help me. They told me they had a new 2025 telluride SX in blue (what i was looking for), but their sales manager had been using it, so it just needed to be detailed. They gave me an offer of $51,600 for this "new" telluride. They negotiated down slightly (-$1K). I went home to think on it and used the VIN & stock # to look up the car just to look at the features again. Turns out the car they were trying to sell me on for $51,600 was a 2024 Telluride, valued on their website at $45,924. Total CON job. Even their sales manager was in on this deal and pushing me to buy it. Will never step foot in there again. Had cash to spend that day, and they totally blew it. Total CON job. Had cash & motivation to purchase that day, and they totally blew it. Buyer beware!!!! More
