My experience at Modern Nissan of Lake Norman easily exceeded my expectations. I hadn't been car shopping in 13 years and this was my first time at a dealership. Needless to say, I was worried about pus exceeded my expectations. I hadn't been car shopping in 13 years and this was my first time at a dealership. Needless to say, I was worried about pushy sales tactics and being pressured into signing for something right off the bat. I went to Carmax to avoid haggling, but really was hoping to get a new car. So, I tried out Modern Nissan of Lake Norman. They couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. Matt Leach was my salesman. I wish someone like him could work at EVERY dealership! He was highly professional and extremely informed on all of their cars. He walked me through all the models and versions, which add-ons I could choose from, what my payments would be like, etc. He let me test drive whatever I wanted as well as explained every function, option, and detail of the vehicle. He didn't make me feel hurried at all. He actually said, "You've waited 13 years, you should find a car you will love to have for another 13 years." That's something a friend says, not a car salesman. He was available every time I called or emailed with a question. When I was ready to purchase, they walked me through the entire process. It was so low pressure, but such fast and fantastic service. I drove away so happy knowing I got a fair price and the best customer service in the industry. More
I have been trying to get the outside molding of my car fixed for 4 months. This is a 2012 Nissan Altima that should not need any repairs since I bought it brand new. The first excuse i received from modern Nissan of lake Norman is they ordered the wrong part. The second was they ordered the right part but they would need to get it painted to match the color of the car. 4 months later and I'm still waiting for these people to get it right. How can anyone trust the maintenance of their car to someone who can't do something as simple as order a part and paint. I have spoken to Mike Guerriero on numerous occasions and the man should not work in a capacity that is customer oriented. He is clueless. I would not recommend service at modern Nissan of lake Norman to anyone. I paid for a service package when I bought my car......big mistake. More

I worked with Tyrone A. who could not have been more friendly and professional with my girlfriend and me. To be honest the experience did not feel like buying a call at all. We chatted about the area (we had just moved to NC 3 weeks ago), football, and of course the Altima. I will easily recommend friends, family, co-workers to MNLN whenever folks ask where I received my car. More
My wife had been looking for a Murano for some time. We found the exact Murano that we wanted, through internet searching Nissan dealerships, being 2.5 hrs away, I contacted Modern Nissan through their web found the exact Murano that we wanted, through internet searching Nissan dealerships, being 2.5 hrs away, I contacted Modern Nissan through their website and was assisted by Garrett, who was very helpful and professional and convinced us that it would be worth the trip to shop with them. When we arrived, we found why they call it Modern. This is a "modern" very professional and helpful dealership. We were greeted immediately and the staff went to work to help us. Our salesman was Matt Leach. We could not have asked for more! Matt was very knowledgeable about their product and patiently took time to explain all the features of the Murano. The sales process went smoothly and Matt was very kind, professional, and patient helping us through the process. He never forgot that we came a long way to deal with Modern and he went out of his way to help us make a deal we were comfortable with. It was after their scheduled closing time when all was finished and we were ready to drive off in our new Murano, still Matt patiently stayed with us to review the features of the car, link our cell phones, and make sure we were comfortable and happy with the car. We had a great experience buying our new Armada from Amy and the crew at Modern Nissan. We had been looking around for about a month when we decided to drive the 110 miles from our home in SC (past numerous and the crew at Modern Nissan. Amy was there to meet us. She knew the many features of the vehicle in fine detail. She helped us get the best price in the world. She and Todd, the sales manager, were very professional, friendly and helped get our purchase through in record time. It was a no nonsense, no pressure transaction done in a very pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend this dealership and its friendly professional staff. Also in terms of value for the money, you can not beat the Nissan product line. More
