We purchased a new S 400 through Wes Wheststone last weekend. We had a great experience! We saw the vehicle online at the dealership's Web site several days before our actual visit to the dealership. weekend. We had a great experience! We live over an hour away from the dealership so we wanted as much information as possible before driving all the way there. This was the only S 400 that they had. We inquired about it online and to do so, we had to provide a phone number (required field for everyone). But, unlike every other dealer we have dealt with, the team at Hagerstown actually listened to what we said in our email inquiry -- that we would prefer to be contacted via email and not by phone. It is amazing how many other dealers ignored this simple instruction and how many interrupting phone calls we received while at work! The internet manager at Hagerstown did ask by email if a call could be set up, but given our work schedules business by phone was just not possible and Hagerstown proceeded to deal with us via email. We had to change our appointment time a few times due to child care issues and Wes handled each change pleasantly AND by email! Wes also promised to let us know if the vehicle sold before our drive in so we wouldn't waste our trip. When we arrived at the dealership to finally see and test drive the car, we were met at the door in a very friendly manner. Wes was finishing off other business (we were late) and we were shown to the coffee and drinks and were instantly made to feel comfortable. Within 10 - 15 minutes the S 400 was out front with Wes showing us the car in great detail. Not only did Wes know about the car (it's amazing how many sales people do not really know their product), he was extremely personable. The test drive went well - Wes accompanied us the first time to show us the route and the features of the car that were not apparent while it was parked. Then, when we switched drivers, he stayed behind and we took it for a spin on our own. This gave us a chance to discuss the car candidly and decide what we wanted to do. We arrived back at the dealership and made an offer -- we negotiated and came to agreement within 10 minutes with the Hagerstown staff (not just Wes) checking in on us to see if we needed any more to drink or anything else. While we were with the finance department the car was cleaned and gassed up. Wes had contacted Sirrus and Mbrace. We were on our way home within just over 3 hours since our arrival with lots of well wishes and our new car. More
I visited the dealership to have some equipment installed in the vehicle. The service was friendly, courteous, and professional and the price more than fair. This was by far the best car buying experience Ive ever had,and Ive had several! There was absolutely no pressure and I never felt one negative feeling about any part of my purchase. My salesman Barry was extremely informative and has more Mercedes benz information in his mind than i thought humanly possible. He was very patient,he explained every single function of this car. I have NEVER had a salesperson do thet before. The sales manager Rob was also very patient,informative,and accomodating. He helped me purchase a brand new car that I love verses one I liked that was an older model. The warranties,the finance rates,selection,and customer service were all stellar in my opinion.I will be buying my next vehicle here as well. More
While traveling from FL to NY we experienced a a running fan issue. We phone this dealership and spoke to a service advisor who help diagnose the problem. When we arrive at 4:30pm a mechanic was waiting for us, took the car in and 45 min. later we where back on the road. Also, Kristin help secure a a local hotel that would accept our dog, made the reservation for us, printed directions. We are so impressed. If we where not in a hurry to get to NY we probably would have purchased a new car. Who knows we might just stop there on our way back to Fl. I would like to think that all dealership would treat travelers this way, but, I am not sure. That being said we are very happy for the treatment we received. Hats off to all the staff. More
As always, I had another pleasurable experience at your dealership. Everyone was extremely friendly. I had extensive work done, (brakes, rotors, etc.). I feel the price, although not cheep, was reasonable. When it looked as though my car would not be completed in one day, I was offered a loner car and told to not be in a rush to return it. Bring it back the next day at my leisure. The 2 ladies in the office where I paid for my work and where I received the keys to my rental car were very accommodating. Alex, the gentleman in the service dept. is so easy to work with and as he always is, very,very friendly. It is always a pleasure to bring in my Mercedes for service. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More

My 1999 SLK230 had been my deceased wife's beloved car, and I use it only infrequwntly and mostly in good weather. Consequently, it suffered some difficulties from sitting undriven rather than from overus and I use it only infrequwntly and mostly in good weather. Consequently, it suffered some difficulties from sitting undriven rather than from overuse. Your service personnel handled the car at least as well as if it were their own. Its primary needs such as a new battery, an oil change, and new struts for the trunk door were handled beautifully and with reasonable cost. They also diagnosed several additional issues that warranted attention now or soon, and brought these to my attention honestly and without undue pressure. Meanwhile, all personnel were polite and attentive, offering me a loaner car or additional courtesies, such as picking up a sandwich for me for lunch when I decided I preferred to stay and read a book while my car was serviced. I enjoyed the company of several other satisfied customers during the time my car was taken care of and returned to me with a good wash, in decent time, and at a fair price. I couldn't have asked for a better experience as a new customer. More
