I purchased my first Mercedes-Benz from this dealership Mercedes-Benz of Escondido, almost two years ago. It is a great 4-door sedan C300. It is a Certified Pre Owned coming off a lease. Yesterday, I went to sell it to CarMax and was given a lower estimate than online. The reason they stated was because this car had been in an accident and there was structural damage. I shared, I've never gotten into an accident. They showed me a report that not only showed the accident, but also shared the number of the police report that was in the system! They lowered my estimate by $4,400! I had no idea that this car was in an accident when I purchased it. I went in alone and felt vulnerable then entire time. I really wanted the car and probably would've purchased it regardless, but the lies! All they can say now is that I signed "the car facts" (After 3 different people hung up on me!). They provide you will about 50 pages of documents when buying the car and financing and hid this one. All they said about the history was that it was leased and all repairs were made here. Hm. Why do that to someone? Don't you want repeat customers? Mercedes-Benz is an amazing company/Brand/car and name, but please RUN from this dealership. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I asked if they would at least try and make it right and pay me the original Car Max quote and they offered less than the discounted number! Way to stand behind your product! Also, I just had a minor repair done at this dealership and they stole my phone cord and replaced it with one that doesn't even connect to the iphone! When I called about that, there was no response. I mean how easy was it to repair that issue. Just apologize and offer me one that's similar. I feel taken advantage of as a woman, which they seem to disregard. I joint the other reviews advice for women to STAY AWAY from this con artist dealership! I really want to say it was just one or two people in the dealership, however, it was many, many employees, who either, lied, hang up on me, told me too bad you signed, scammed me, etc. RUN RUN RUN from this dealership. They give Mercedes a Bad Wrap! More
After buying three cars from this dealership, I had a disappointing experience today when I turned in a leased car. The sales person offered me a deal to buy the car rather than return it to MB. After discussing it, I accepted the offer, and we started the payment process; then, the general manager changed his mind because he had not looked at the car (salesperson said he already had). I will never buy another car from this dealer. P.S. There were five or six sales guys smoking cigarettes out front waiting for customers. Not a good look. More

From the moment I received a phone call from Tony, the dealership's rep Mercedes-Benz of Escondido, and I must say that it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I received a phone call from Tony, the dealership's representative, to the dreadful aftermath of my purchase, this dealership has left a lasting negative impact on me. Then came Esteban Zwirn, the finance manager, who took advantage of my vulnerability. He expressed sympathy for my financial hardship and the downgrade from an S550 to a Honda Civic. He assured me that they were giving me the best deal possible, claiming that they were practically paying me to take the car. To sweeten the deal, he even brought me cookies, a Coke Zero, and coffee. By this point, I had been at the dealership for several hours, and I needed to return home. We finalized the paperwork, and as I was leaving, Esteban Zwirn walked me out and reassured me that this was a great deal, attributing it to divine intervention. Little did I know that his words were nothing more than empty promises. It turned out that I had been overcharged by a staggering $10,000. The moment I discovered this discrepancy, I tried reaching out to all three employees who dealt with me on December 31st, 2022. However, my attempts to contact them were met with silence. I even visited the dealership in person, but Irene, another finance manager, claimed she hadn't checked her messages since the morning. It was clear that they had no interest in hearing from me or rectifying their mistake. The experience I had at Mercedes-Benz of Escondido has haunted me ever since. The memory of the deception, betrayal, and two-facedness continues to keep me up at night. I have felt humiliated and taken advantage of, all while enduring feelings of regret for trusting this dealership. The fact that they ignored my attempts to contact them only adds to the sense of abandonment and mistreatment. I implore you, especially fellow ladies, to steer clear of Mercedes-Benz of Escondido. The whole process of purchasing a car from them has been nothing short of a nightmare. This dealership has shown a complete lack of integrity and respect for its customers. Save yourself the agony, find another dealership, and spare yourself the sleepless nights. It is evident that this establishment should only deal with men, as they have clearly demonstrated their disregard for women. More
