You purchased your used Dodge Ram from us over 1 year ago. Your vehicle was not a "certified" vehicle, as we can only "certify" a GM product, and not a Dodge product. Your vehicle did go through our 127 point inspection process prior to your purchase. We can only address what issues are apparent at the time of the inspection, and cannot predict what could/would go wrong in the future with the approximately 10,000 moving parts on any vehicle. As far as "switching out" vehicles, that's not how such a process works. Once a purchase is funded by a lender, the lender and consumer are the owners of the vehicle, and if the consumer wants to entertain the thought of getting a different/another vehicle, they have to trade in the vehicle, and secure an approval once again from a lender. We do not/can not give every customer who has to leave their vehicle with us for repairs, a free loaner vehicle. With over 6,000 vehicles a month coming through our service drive, that's impossible. I do see you purchased a service warranty, so hopefully that will assist with the findings on repairs. Additionally, you also have our free lifetime powertrain coverage if the repair is engine or tranny related (and if you have complied with the simple terms of getting an oil change performed at an ASE certified repair facility every 6,000 miles). As far as your father-in-law's truck is concerned, and with the past/current culture of chip shortages with every manufacturer, any missing chips will become available for delivered vehicles as soon as they are shipped to us, and then you would be notified of such by our service team.

While it is true that many plug repairs do a great job of keeping air in the tire, that's only part of the equation. Because they're not completely sealing the injury, plug repairs may allow air and moisture to penetrate the body of the tire, which is why we recommended new tires and an alignment once the tires are installed. Although we have/had no control over any manufacturer (they were all in the same boat), timeline of when an ordered vehicle would arrive, we're glad to hear that you finally got yours, and are hopeful that you are truly enjoying it. Although at the time all of this transpired (when your new vehicle arrived), you could not locate the titles to the vehicles, If you still have these vehicles and want us to take care of getting them off of your property, please let us/me know this.
