Although people we dealt with tried to be friendly, it seemed forced and fake. As we did end up buying a vehicle, the experience was not as pleasant as our six previous Toyota purchases at the same location, but with a different owner and unlikely for us to buy again. A lot of little things piled up to be quite annoying, and in hindsight, we should have shopped around much more, as I think this dealer would have quickly fallen to last choice. Perhaps we drew an inexperienced sales person, but I would advise one to beware of promises made but no follow up after the sale. Rather a shame as I, at one time, considered this the best Toyota dealership in the state. And we possibly started out on the wrong foot as the first vehicle in the series we were interested in had a dead battery (A new car!), one in which the staff picked for us. Made me wonder what other things were overlooked on the new car sales lot. More

Buyer beware! I bought a 2011 Rav 4 in March of 2013. The salesman I worked with was Wonderful! I then went to see Mandy, and man was she friendly too! I got great I bought a 2011 Rav 4 in March of 2013. The salesman I worked with was Wonderful! I then went to see Mandy, and man was she friendly too! I got great financing and I was also convinced to buy the Vehicle Service Plan. I decided to trade vehicles a few weeks ago just for the fact I didn't want to have to drive to Sedalia everytime I needed something done. So...I find out when I buy my new vehicle that I am entitled to a partial refund on the service agreement. I've been trying to get a hold of Mandy for 4 days to get the ball rolling. I have left numerous messages and have emailed her also. I have yet to hear from her. They must keep her very busy! I gave up and called an 800 number and had matters taken care of in 5 minutes. I think the staff is friendly as long as they are getting your money, but when it comes to giving back refunds..not so much. BTW the refund was almost 700.00. Who wouldn't want that? I would not recommend McCarthy's Toyota! More

Mark was so Pleasant, Professional, and Helpful! We arrived for our mid morning oil change and were promptly taken care of by Mark. He took down our concerns, one of which was a noise we heard while driving, and then he showed us the way to the waiting area. The waiting area itself was pleasant with options for something to drink and a TV to watch, tho the TV's sound was a tad quiet. Due to this, we tired of sitting around and decided to take a walk in the sunny but brisk outdoors. To our surprise, we heard someone calling our names. Mark had discovered the cause of the noise we were concerned about, and he tracked us down to let us know what the cause was (tire type). He explained it and left us to think over our options. As we walked around the lot we were approached by a very nice salesman, unfortunately I do not recall his name. He was a very nice young man, and he politely inquired as to whether we were looking to trade in our car on a newer model and explained the advantages of that. We were not interested in trading in the car since we haven't owned it long, and he did not apply any pressure, just was very pleasant. When we tired of our walk we went back inside and had only a little while to wait until Mark appeared again to let us know our car was ready. We paid for the work done, and he explained that the alignment of the car was somewhat off, resulting in the car toeing in, and "out of spec.". We asked him about how long it would take to correct that. It was coming up on their lunch time and ours, so he suggested that we come back after lunch and we would have no waiting for the alignment. We did as he suggested, returned after lunch, and we were immediately taken to the waiting room while the technicians took care of the car. Again, it didn't take long before we saw Mark coming to get us. He assured us that the car was now properly aligned and ready to go. Mark was friendly but professional, and we really appreciated his keeping us so well informed of the details of our car. We are very happy your dealership has Mark there to help customers like us make good decisions to keep our cars running at their best! Thank you so much for your help, Mark! More
Service Center I purchased a brand new vehicle in December and had an issue with a crack in the windshield. No-one was able to do anything for me until Angie at the I purchased a brand new vehicle in December and had an issue with a crack in the windshield. No-one was able to do anything for me until Angie at the collision center. She went out of her way to ensure at least something was done that was satisfactory to help me in everyway possible. Everyone else was concerned with just moving me along to the next person. She acted like she cared and did everything she could to ensure I was happy and at least got something accomplished with the brand new vehicle I bought. If it was not for her, I would never recommend this dealership to anyone again. Due to her, I might buy another vehicle from them. More

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! You negotiate your deal and then they change the price! They want to "talk" about their issues, but they don't want to "fix" the problem!
