Mazda of Claremont was very accommodating in setting up an appointment for regular maintenance. When I arrived at the service department on the day of the appointment, I was greeted by Amy who was very fri an appointment for regular maintenance. When I arrived at the service department on the day of the appointment, I was greeted by Amy who was very friendly and helpful and offered me coffee or water. I was given an approximate time for the vehicle to be ready. I opted to not stay the entire time so I was updated via text and later notified when my Mazda3 was ready for pickup. Excellent service! Francisco is the man and did an amazing job with informing us of the details of the car and getting us a good deal. No review of car function/dashboard/Infotainment system provided by dealer personnel. I was handed the owners manual and basically told "good luck." Today's cars are too complicated not to have someone at least walk you through the basics. When I bought my last car, a Hyundai, the salesperson spent at least an hour going over all the details, and actually helped me install my Iphone and other details. It wasn't like they were too busy that day, just wasn't a priority. 2. No mention of the Mazda Connect Owners Manual. Didn't get a copy or have it even mentioned too me as existing. It is mentioned (briefly) in the Owner's Manual, but given the complexity of the system, it really should be at least mentioned, or a copy (or CD) given out to new owners. I think this is a significant lapse in policy. Have since downloaded a copy. 3. Wheel Locks. I paid for wheel locks, but they were not put on the car prior to delivery. They were in their original container in the glove box. I think if you pay for a "dealer installed" item, it ought to be dealer installed, not stuck in the glove box. Lack of detail. More
