Purchasing our new vehicle was super easy, low/no pressure and everyone we interacted with were super friendly and helpful! I had my 2009 Subaru Outback towed into the dealership due to a faulty transmission cable that made the car undrivable. On the first visit, the cable was “adjusted”by mechanic Brian. I got the car back due to a faulty transmission cable that made the car undrivable. On the first visit, the cable was “adjusted”by mechanic Brian. I got the car back 2 days later and the problem was not fixed. I was charged $150. I had it towed again, and this time, it was discovered that not only the cable needed to be replaced, but the shifter needed to be replaced as well. The parts were ordered, and 3 business days later, the car was finished and is now driving great. The $150 was credited to my account and I was only charged the difference for the additional service. Aarin the mechanic, and Cassandra in Subaru service were very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my car was fixed properly and that I was taken care of. Unfortunately, since my car was there from a Friday to a Tuesday, I had to rent a car out of my own pocket, because according to Jeff the Service Manager, unless your service is under warranty, there are no loaner cars available. My insurance covered the cost of both towing, but will not cover the cost of rental car. Overall, I am happy with the repairs and the customer service, but I should have not had to have it in there twice, and as a paying customer, given the situation, should’ve been given something to drive free of charge. More
