You are absolutely right that at 30,000 miles Subaru does recommend a bigger preventive maintenance. I apologize that this was your experience with Maple Hill. Let me start by saying, that of course you can use the online scheduler to schedule your appointments. It's a great tool and convenient for our customers. On our end, it is usually easier to talk to a customer to get all information we need and make sure everything is scheduled in our shop correctly, but the online system is not something that should be discouraged. I am the one who goes through all of our online appointments. I do try my best to call customers who have conflicts with our schedule and their appointment. Usually there are 20 or more appointments scheduled online every day, and I sometimes miss one or two. I want to apologize that yours was one of these. With the type of work you wanted done, I normally would have called you because the appointment was scheduled at noon. When the appointment was scheduled online, it was set as a drop off on our end, so it didn't raise a red flag with me that you needed to be called immediately, and I missed the appointment when I was going through the second wave of appointments. This mistake is 100% my fault, and I apologize. You should have never been made to feel like you did something wrong by scheduling your appointment online. I spoke with our service manager, and she assured me that she would address this with the service advisors. Lena, Thank you for getting back with me. Normally, businesses do not so that is nice. I do want to say that I have been going to your dealership for over three years and have had great experience and I would not have ever said anything this time except you asked so I thought I would. I certainly would not want anyone in trouble - it could be she was having a bad day. I will continue to come into the service department as the very next day after this service appointment I was at Maple Hill purchasing a 2022 Outback so obviously I am a satisfied customer.
