We bought an 2013 Infiniti QX56 in December. Along with that the $4,000 extended warranty. On the paperwork as part of buying the vehicle it was stated in writing that the dash light for the win Along with that the $4,000 extended warranty. On the paperwork as part of buying the vehicle it was stated in writing that the dash light for the windshield wiper fluid would be taken care of. Allegedly they did something but it did not work, light was still on. Had to pay $672. at another shop for a new tank that actually has the sensor on it which amazingly took care of the dash light. So fast forward to February with less than 2,000 miles driven and the check engine light comes on. Stop by an auto parts store and run the code, it shows bank one catalytic converter. Take it to a shop and they confirm bank one catalytic converter. And then I remember that $4,000 warranty so I contact the service department at Mandals and unfortunately that is not covered under your fancy smanchy $4,000 warranty. Take it to another shop and once again pay out of pocket to the tune of $3,800. So if you want to pay top dollar for a vehicle from an allegedly reputable dealer for “peace of mind”and if you want to pay top dollar for an outrageously high warranty that doesn’t really cover much and if you would like to never hear from them again after detailing said issues, dude, this is the place for you! More
