Our initial contact with Nicole Stewart at Madison Honda was fantastic, but we were not ready to purchase a vehicle at that time. When we returned to look at another CRV-EXL we were assisted by Izzy D Honda was fantastic, but we were not ready to purchase a vehicle at that time. When we returned to look at another CRV-EXL we were assisted by Izzy Douban as Nicole had taken a leave of absence. Izzy was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, courteous, and gave us his personal cell phone number with instructions to call him directly with any questions at any time. The experience at Madison Honda was very different from the experience at Paul Miller in West Caldwell or Hackettstown Honda. We did not feel any pressure to purchase the vehicle at Madison, and we felt like valued customers there. Every single person that we talked to there was friendly, helpful, positive, and in great spirits. Our experience with Al Rico in the finance department was equally fantastic. Al was patient, courteous, and answered all of our questions thoroughly with patience and professionalism. The entire process was streamlined and easy. Madison Honda was the best dealership that we visited, and the personal feeling that they conveyed to us was definitely a factor in our decision to purchase the car there. They were able to beat the price of a vehicle with comparable miles, trim, and condition at another dealership, and the vehicle had the Honda True-Certification included in the price. We recommend Madison Honda, and we would look to purchase a car from them again in the future. More
Very friendly and willing to work with the customer. Nice clean building and everything was spaced nicely to keep distance and keep people safe. Nice clean building and everything was spaced nicely to keep distance and keep people safe. More
Madison Honda is a no pressure dealership that caters to their customers needs. Mike Bohan is an excellent salesman who makes the entire process very easy and enjoyable. Buyer Beware, This dealership questions ethics and has no regard for customer retention. I would be very careful with this dealership, If you decide to purchase a vehicle from this establishment read everyth regard for customer retention. I would be very careful with this dealership, If you decide to purchase a vehicle from this establishment read everything closely, and don't sign anything until you understand every single charge that's on your bill or what your signing for. The whole signing of documents in the F&I office feels very rushed, nothing is clearly explained and I feel it's very possible this is done on purpose to sneak things in without your knowledge. Make sure the deal you agree on with your sales rep matches up to what you sign in the F&I office. Also make sure no hidden "theft protection" programs are snuck in without your knowledge. As this is what happened to me. I went back the next business day to claim a refund of a surprise "propack etch fee" that was on my bill of sale that I did not agree to or much less know what it was about. After speaking to the F&I manager Laura and the Sales GM Eric I was told this was my fault for not carefully reviewing what I was signing, and what's done is done, and there's no refund available. Interesting enough I called the company responsible for my so called "etch fee" and learned that it's not an Etch program but instead a vehicle theft protection program that I should've selected to purchase during the F&I part of the transaction they also explained that if the program is cancelled within the first 30 days they will refund the dealership which in turn they should by law refund me, but as Laura and Eric said, "no refund." So I would choose another more reputable Honda dealership if you're in the market for a Honda in Northern NJ. This dealership is all about pulling a fast one on you and no regard for customer retention. Buyer Beware! More
I am sad to say that I must write a bad review of the Madison Honda dealership. I live 3 miles away from this dealership. I put a deposit on a car , intending to pick it up the next day. I put down $ Madison Honda dealership. I live 3 miles away from this dealership. I put a deposit on a car , intending to pick it up the next day. I put down $1000. After a run-around the next day, there was no car and I was treated poorly and the whole experience felt underhanded. I left and asked to have my money returned. They did not fulfill their part of the deal, and my money should have been returned. I am still trying to get my money returned. This dealership proves the reason car salesman have a bad rep. More
