I had a disappointing experience with the service department at MacHaik Chevrolet. Our 2022 Tahoe was in their shop for nearly two weeks due to a faulty water pump that needed replacement under w department at MacHaik Chevrolet. While I appreciated the loaner vehicle they provided, the overall experience was frustrating. When we finally got our Tahoe back, it had a check engine light on and low tire pressure—issues that should have been caught before returning the car to us. We had to bring the vehicle back again, which added even more inconvenience, requiring us to rearrange our work schedules and juggle drop-offs while managing our kids. After further inspection, we were told the "new" check engine light was due to a failing battery, and the low tire pressure was from worn tires. What started as a warranty repair ended with a $2,000 bill for a new battery and tires—an expense we hadn’t planned for. What made the experience worse was the lack of any meaningful effort to make things right. Despite the oversight on their part, the service rep could only offer free oil changes—something that, if you’ve ever had an oil change at MacHaik, can take hours. I also found it frustrating that the rep repeatedly emphasized how they do "quality" work while directly asking me to leave a positive review—which felt inappropriate given the situation. In my opinion, this service center is overwhelmed, and customer satisfaction is not a priority. More
