THIS RATING SHOULD BE LESS THAN 1 - I had my vehicle towed to the MAG BMW for service on a recall and for diagnostic. I was told that my vehicle needed a HPFP, LPFS and a new battery for a tune of $2500 towed to the MAG BMW for service on a recall and for diagnostic. I was told that my vehicle needed a HPFP, LPFS and a new battery for a tune of $2500. Before deciding to not have the repairs done at MAG BMW, I purchased both HPFP and LPFS from the their parts department and towed my vehicle to another certified mechanic shop. I explained the BMW findings to the shop mechanic and he proceeded with replacing both HPFP and LPFS and he couldn't understand why BWM wanted to charge me $500 to replace a working battery. Seriously?! Not sure where to begin... brought my BMW X3 2005 in for a non-start issue. Thought it may be bad gasoline. Had it towed to MAG. John C was my rep. Not sure where to begin... brought my BMW X3 2005 in for a non-start issue. Thought it may be bad gasoline. Had it towed to MAG. John C was my rep. The next day he felt it was the plugs and changed them as no codes were given - no check engine light. I said ok, but I do not want to chase the problem. 3 days later I called to see the progress, he said they changed them but it still didn't start. Wanted me to buy a sensor to alleviate the problem because apparently the tech drove it and it stalled out. Said the sensor would be in the next day... well, 5 days later, he said the sensor wasn't in yet and they would install once it arrived. 3 days later, he called and said the sensor didn't do it and to come and get it as they tried everything. I came in and returned my loaner car. I went over a number of things all of which he said they tried. Then he asked for $700 to cover labor. I politely said we need to talk to a manager. Raquel was nice and we settled on $385 + tax to cover parts. I was going to pay for my parts but after over 2 weeks in shop and still to get a car returned that does not work and a bill for $700 was unacceptable. They had trouble finding my key but once it was found, I was told it can be towed and it is out back. I called AAA and once the driver was there, I told him to tow it to Best Motor Werx. He said what is wrong with it? I told him no start, will crank but no turn over. About then the techs and others were out back for a smoke break and he said we tried everything and the tow truck driver said give me the keys and got in and continually cranked it and after two minutes, it started. He said it was severely flooded and that is all the problem was more than likely due to cold conditions we experienced recently and the fuel injectors were a bit clogged not giving it enough gas to start. We looked down at the engine and my cam cover was missing, and the air hose was disconnected and several bolts were laying off under the hood on the rail. The tow truck driver said you have to be kidding me. All of those things would have fallen out on tow. Plus I would have had to pay for new parts at Motor Werx, plus a diagnosis, and whatever else. The tech said your covers should be in the back, they were not. They were somewhere else and another tech came out with them and said someone may have had "sticky fingers"... Bizarre to say the least! I felt like I was in a bad movie. The tow driver lit into the manager as if he were my Christmas angel! Man did I need that. Bolts and pieces of my car falling all over the cold pavement. John and Raquel were nice enough to stick around and help order a part that was broken with clips that the tech pried open and broke. We also tried to find one bolt we had extra and another tech came out and said it didn't even belong to my car. The tow driver assembled everything back to the way it was the best he could. Total bizarro... expected more for a customer that bought the car at MAG and only had it serviced there. So I am out $400 and a nice tip for the angel AAA tow guy. More
Started fine, dissolved quickly Our experience with MAG BMW started out fine, the sales team was initially responsive & accommodating. We were excited to purchase a certified pre-ow Our experience with MAG BMW started out fine, the sales team was initially responsive & accommodating. We were excited to purchase a certified pre-owned X1 from John, a MAG BMW sales associate. However the experience unraveled quickly, when we arrived to sign the papers & pick up the car. We sat in the car & started the engine. Immediately an error message appeared on the dash that there was a “drivetrain malfunction.” The service tech was called in. However, they were not able to diagnose the problem. We requested a diagnostic report, but were told that was not possible. We were told that possible problems resulted from the car sitting on the lot or watered down gas or maybe even from the cleaning the car received – all speculation with no facts to back up the assessment. It was suggested that we move forward with the purchase and then work to diagnose the problem if the error code didn’t reset itself. Further research into the problem on the internet indicated that the problem could have been a host of serious and expensive repairs related to the fuel system and engine. There was no explanation as to why a certified pre-owned car would have such an alarming error. There was no attempt made by John, nor the Sales Manager Lance, to find alternate solutions or accommodations. We confidently walked away from the deal. And we are confident that we will not be returning to MAG BMW for any reason in the future. More

Liars, Cheats, or just plain stupid Have owned many BMWs and have them serviced at dealerships across the US. Not once have I been treated this way. My car was not returned to me in the Have owned many BMWs and have them serviced at dealerships across the US. Not once have I been treated this way. My car was not returned to me in the same condition as it was dropped off. When asked about the issues with my car, the service advisor attempted to shift blame onto others and we unable to understand or comprehend these issues or how the car should workm. Car was not ready at the date it was promised, when I went to pick it up the check engine light was lit and the car was dirty, even though my receipt said the car had been washed and that a technician had inspected the car after all repairs. This dealership looks to prey on customers by adding extra repairs and will break things and not fix them. Don't expect honesty from this dealer, and definitely don't expect to feel like a valued customer. You are better off taking your car anywhere else. More

Exploited and held hostage Received rental car while my Passat was being serviced. When asked how it was I explained “it felt like the wheels were out of alignment” the service Received rental car while my Passat was being serviced. When asked how it was I explained “it felt like the wheels were out of alignment” the service consultant looked at the car immediately and showed a scuff on the rim and held me liable and I was out $500 for something I didn’t do. Without question I would have admitted fault if I was liable - but I didn’t do anything. I have never felt so exploited in my life....Shocking! More

Worst service experience - less than 1 star Brought my X3 in for annual oil change - 1st time at this dealer with this car. Service advisor never introduced himself, never called to update me. Brought my X3 in for annual oil change - 1st time at this dealer with this car. Service advisor never introduced himself, never called to update me. I called at 5:15 PM, service advisor was gone, service manager was gone, no one worked on my car. Tried to get hold of a GM and Midwestern Auto Group Head of Service - guess what, not there. I leased 3 cars and had them all serviced at MAG BMW and I always felt like they didn’t give a xxxx about me. Never treated me like a valued customer. I should just go to Kelly bMW - the 25 minute drive would be worth it. More
