We recently moved from NY in 2009 and needed to get a car for my wife. Ahmad Yamak was the first salesman to approach us and his deamonor delivered excellent rapport. He removed the worry in our car purchase. We leased a 2010 RX 350 in July 2009. My old car's transmission(not a Lexus) went out and we went right to Ahmad. We bought a 2007 Lexus ES 350 CPO in Dec 2009. After sometime we wanted a pleasure car and changed our RX350 to a 2012 IS 250c in Jan 2012. Finally, this year it was time to trade in my 2007 EX 350 and we purchased the 2013 RX350. Ahmad was very helpful during all four of our car purchases/leases and we will continue to recommend all of our friends and family to Ahmad at Longo Lexus. He is top notch! More

This is a letter of appreciation to Ahmed Yamak, a Longo Lexus Certified Master Sales Agent. My wife purchased a Toyota Celica from Longo Toyota in 1978. She enjoyed the buying experience and kept Longo T Lexus Certified Master Sales Agent. My wife purchased a Toyota Celica from Longo Toyota in 1978. She enjoyed the buying experience and kept Longo Toyota in the forefront of her mind regarding any subsequent purchases of Toyota vehicles. Again, in 2000, we drove her sister to Longo Toyota and she purchased a Toyota vehicle. In 2003, my wife was interested in purchasing a crossover vehicle. We drove to Longo Lexus regarding a potential purchase. To our surprise, when we entered the showroom, no one approached us or offered any assistance. There was a salesman and a receptionist in the showroom. Neither one of them offered any assistance. We left the showroom and vowed to never return to Longo Lexus. Based on our previous experience with Longo Toyota, in 2006 we purchased a Toyota Corolla S for our daughter. Once again we had a positive buying experience with Longo Toyota. In July of this year, my wife was interested in purchasing a certified pre-owned Lexus RX 350. We visited Santa Monica Lexus, South Bay Lexus and Beverly Hills Lexus. They all had a good selection of RX 350’s in stock; however, they did not have the exterior and interior combination my wife was interested in purchasing. We knew that lease returns would be coming in each month; therefore, we informed the sales agents about our exterior and interior preferences and requested they call us when they received the appropriate combination. Even though the salesman and receptionist snubbed their nose at us in 2003, my wife utilized the internet and located the perfect RX 350 combination at Longo Lexus. We decided to call Longo Lexus and see if this specific vehicle was still on the lot. We established this particular vehicle was still on the lot and immediately made an appointment on Sunday, August 5, 2012, to view the car. After arriving at Longo Lexus approximately 12 noon, we exited our vehicle, and were immediately approached by Ahmad Yamak. He did not know we had already contacted Longo Lexus regarding a RX 350. Nevertheless, he was extremely personable and more than happy to offer his assistance. He offered us some liquid refreshments and most important he listened to what options my wife wanted on the RX 350. It became apparent to my wife and me that Ahmad was very knowledgeable about his Lexus product line. My wife and I agreed that this was one of the most positive buying experiences compared to Santa Monica, South Bay or Beverly Hills. We were so impressed with Ahmad we informed him if any of our friends or relatives are interested in purchasing a Lexus, we would pass along his name and phone number. Needless to say, he is our focal point for any future purchases of Lexus vehicles. Thanks Ahmed for the positive buying experience and making August 5, 2012 a phenomenal day! My car leasing experience at Longo was amazing from start to finish thanks to Sergio Orozco. A family member put me in touch with Sergio regarding a great lease deal. He was quick to respond with helpful answers to my MANY questions and never made me feel bad about not knowing the ins and outs of leasing, as it was my first time. His genuine excitement for me getting my dream car was contagious and more importantly, sincere. I never felt like he was putting on an act just to close a deal. In my 2-year long car search (I'm slow!!), I met far too many dishonest and insincere car dealers. Longo and Sergio changed that for the better. Sergio explained why Longo is different than other Lexus dealers and I saw the proof for myself. I was treated as a guest, not an annoyance or paycheck like I was at South Bay Lexus in Torrance. I hope I don't have go anywhere else in the future for cars, Longo and Sergio made that big of an impact! Thank you!! More
Inquired about a Lexus IS 250 on the home page. Of all the dealers that replied Longo send me the Invoice and a great price. I did created a fake email, and the other dealers weren't as understanding as George Kantanto. Stopped by to meet George and he never pushed a sale. He showed me the car from the Invoice once we located, he took the time to go over every feature and we test drove same model. He explained the difference in the packages and I learned which ones had the package I wanted and which were the base model. Again I left without being pressured, and I let him know that I was going to go through my credit union. But George informed me Lexus was having a special financing rate and I applied. Yong Chung was excellent during the financing options. He explained all the added options I can purchased, and being that most cars are electrical I went with the extended warranty and prepaid service. Yong was great at explaining what was covered and what was not covered. After I purchased the IS 250, George took me over to the Service. First time being a Lexus and the process in itself was excellent at Longo Lexus. More

After having numerous bad experiences in online attempts to buy the car shown in the online ad with dealers agreeing to a negotiated price only to have them either use the old bait and switch or shamelessly disregaurd the already agreed upon price after arriving at the dealership to finalize the deal (in one case with Cashiers check in hand) they raise the price in one case by $1,400 for a car the was barley worth the negotiated price as it was, I was AMAZED to find that after making a appointment at Longo Lexus to view and test drive the car seen in the internet ad I found the exact car that I seen online. Felix Giles was the sales rep. assigned to us and I belive that was one of the luckist breaks to have happen to me in a good many years. After dealing with unscrupulous sales people and dealerships one after another in this attempt to find a reliable car at a fair price for my aunt I was AMAZED to find a man with high scruples and integrity in a sales position. Not only did Mr. Giles meet our reasonabley negotiated agreement on the car he surpassed it with a lower overall price. If you need a car or are helping a loved one find a car and Longo Lexus has something instock along those line, I strongly recommend that you give them a chance and when you do ask for Felix Giles he is human first and salesman second. I left not only extreamly satisfied with the whole experience all the way down the line , I also felt that I had just made a new friend in Felix Giles. More
Man Wong is not very organized and lost my paper work which caused a big delay. I asked him to do a check for my car before my road trip, he told me he doesn't know what to check. Robert was very customer-friendly and helpful. I came in to the Service Department for several reasons and, needing a replacement part (roof rack part), he mentioned that the part that I had just ordered an to the Service Department for several reasons and, needing a replacement part (roof rack part), he mentioned that the part that I had just ordered and paid for today, would be included as a warranty item and therefore at no cost, I was able to get a reimbursement. I did not know, but he was quick to point that out. Upon hearing that, I went back to the Parts Department and they reimbursed me. It is very comforting to know that a dealer will "do it right" for a customer. I have been a client of Longo Lexus for about 10 years, purchasing my first Lexus (2002 Lexus ES300) and in November 2011, purchasing my 2012 Lexus RX350. I would highly recommend Longo to anyone considering a new car, as they also back it up with outstanding service! More

If you are researching/deciding on whether to purchase your next USED/CPO vehicle from LONGO Lexus? Pls read on, we just saved you potential drama, headache and heartache! Found an used '06 IS350 your next USED/CPO vehicle from LONGO Lexus? Pls read on, we just saved you potential drama, headache and heartache! Found an used '06 IS350 at LONGO as a graduation gift for my spouse; it was advertised as - "This car is in exceptionally great shape...We took care of the 90K service...and replaced brakes as were necessary." Upon contacting the LONGO LEXUS sales agent, replied emails were: i) "You should also know that the car has undergone the same inspection that all of our Certified Pre-Owned cars do and the only reason we could not certify it was because of the mileage. I cannot say much else other than this, if this IS was not a quality, solid car, we would not put it on our lot." ii) "Although this car is not Certified, it still underwent inspection and it is, above all else, a Lexus. In fact, the only reason that it is not certified is because it did not meet the maximum mileage requirement." WOW! As good as a "CPO!" Ok then, sounded like a deal to us! Thus we drove 2hrs(one-way) from SD to LA just to check out this IS. Right off the parking lot for a test drive, the brakes were squeaking in reverse! I asked why so? The reply was - "Well, the car has not been driven lately, may be the brakes need to warm up." While in the car, the driver's side mirror was not able to move up-&-down? Ok, in the end, we did get a $300 discount off the sticker (car was priced as Excellent condition per KBB?!) but NOT including the labor cost required to replace/install an OEM part. Bought/brought the vehicle home, while doing a full detail (deep wash + polish + wax + engine degrease), only to find out that under the hood, there are at least 10 missing plastic clips for the three engine covers, with the remaining ones pretty much half broken anyway! Btw, spare tire measured 30psi while LEXUS spec is 60psi; so much for passing the "CPO-inspection" right? Conclusion: 20 days later, we were dealing with loudER and loudER squeaking brakes that supposedly were "replaced as necessary" by LONGO Service Dept when advertised. Ya, that morning when we brought the car in to SD Lexus Service Dept, all the customers were "amused" by our squeaking brakes! "Priceless" moment indeed.... After inspection by our local SD Lexus dealership, the car needed: 1) NEW front pads, rotors and shim kits; 2) Rear rotors need re-surfacing. However, LONGO was ONLY willing to: Replace missing clips; replace the front pads, re-surface the front rotors. FORGET about the front shim kits and re-surfacing the rear rotors. Reason by LONGO: We the buyer already knew about the squeaking brakes upon purchasing the vehicle, and thus, LONGO will not honor a FULL brakes job despite findings by another Lexus Service Dept and the cost to do everything RIGHT! At time of this writing, the car was still within LONGO's "30-day; 2000miles warranty" and here we are, having to put up with their BARE minimum efforts in getting all the wrongs fixed.***Btw, interesting reading on LONGO business etiquette - reported by Mamed M. of LA, CA back in 06/19/2009. *** In the end, we were given the option of bringing the vehicle back to LONGO for a "full" refund? WHAT!? 4hrs round trip + $100 on the gas? And after we have spent $400 tinting the windows and running internal wires for the SAT radio + 8hrs of FULL detailing on the exterior paint? All the above mentioned issues could-have-should-have been taken care of during LONGO's "CPO-INSPECTION," as was told/communicated to us!!! ***See: http://www.lexus.com/c...; http://www.lexus.com/c... To prevent such incident from happening again to other USED/CPO customers, pls STOP over-promising (e.g. Passed "CPO-Inspection?") and under-delivering whenever customers discovered all the wrongs, and ONLY expect things to get done RIGHT the TOYOTA way! Bottom line: Deliver as Advertised and Promised. Are these all too much to ask for LONGO Lexus? More
