!!!UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST!!! I am now at 2 months from having purchased this truck from Lithia and am now driving on my second temporary registration [in addition to the dealer provided temporary and at my expense]. I still do not have the ability to legally register the vehicle in my home state of Idaho because Lithia did not have a title for the vehicle at the time of purchase--something I assumed they did have. After many a phone conversation, I was told just three days ago by Lithia that I still have to wait at least 2 weeks before the title will be issued to my financial institution. At which point I, or my DMV, will have to call and request that the title be sent to my DMV--which will take at least another week plus. The possibility likely exists that I will not be able to drive this truck for some period of time because I'll have exhausted my allowance of temporary permits. And furthermore, I predict that it will have taken roughly 3 months before I will be able to register this truck. If any who read my first post has a chance, please read the response from Lithia's General Manager. Does it not feel very canned? I am in a senior management position within a large customer service oriented business; and had I or any of my management team been exposed to something as I have describe, we'd have promptly phoned our customer to see if there was anything we could do (within our means) to make the situation better.
