Took my 2012 Jeep Wrangler into Lithia Jeep to take a look at a heating and cooling issue, and drivers side heated seat wasn't working. The light would come on for a few moments then shut off. They also let me know there is a courtesy vehicle that would take me to and from work. Good thing I was paying attention because other people got up to go to the courtesy vehicle and no one let me know it was there. A few hours later I get a call and they tell me nothing is wrong with heating and ac and heated seat replacement would be $800+. I explained the issue with heating and cooling again and they said they checked and it's all working fine. Ok..so I call the courtesy vehicle to pick me up and it was an unpleasant experience. I get back to the shop, and pay the $170 service fee and left disappointed. I told my husband what happened and he was upset. He ended up youtubing the heating and cooling issue and fixed it himself with like a $30 part. He was able to identify and fix the issue in 2-3 hours. I feel like I wasn't listened to. He had to call the service department to advocate for me and that just feels terrible honestly. The dealership did offer a free detail of my Jeep but I feel reluctant to accept that offer. More
