Quality Cars, Quality Experience I test drove a 2017 Lexus NX at another dealership before visitng Lindsay (I do business in that neighborhood weekly). The sales consultant at the competitor told me there were minimal changes between the 2017 and 2018 models. After seeing an article about the model differences, I decided to go to Lindsay. I scheduled a test drive and Nazir Jasat enabled me to see a 2018 NX and take it for a lengthy drive. I loved what I saw and Nazir was able to answer all my questions. He followed up with me, as appropriate. No pressure, and best of all, I was taken seriously. When I saw a model in the inventory that I really wanted, Nazir and Lindsay Finance helped me complete all the paperwork in a reasonable amount of time. The car was still in transit, so I picked it up a few days later and Nazir helped me become familiar with all the great tech. Nazir has followed up with me to make sure all is well. We had been to other car dealers and even when telling them we wanted a certified pre-owned vehicle in a certain price point, other dealers would ignore what we said and put us in new and much more expensive vehicles. But Jack listened to what we wanted and had us test drive the vehicles that were in our price point and taught us all about those vehicles. He also made the car buying process so much fun! My husband and I were in th When I write a review that is not stellar, I try to make sure that it is based on several collective negative experiences. My husband and I were in the market to buy our first car, a Lexus ES350 sedan. When I first called Doug, he seemed professional and I was looking forward to meeting him in person. He was pretty helpful and knowledgeable when comparing the different packages available. I did seem to notice a bit of a change in demeanor though when we mentioned that we would be comparing prices with other dealerships towards the end of the appointment. Nevertheless, we continued working with him, and in the next week or two, we were both more serious about purchasing a specific car, color, and package. Through email exchanges, we tried to negotiate $2000 off, to which he countered with $500. When we asked for a further $500, he responded that "we were splitting hairs and that he was below inventory". First off, negotiating another $500 is not splitting hairs when you are about to make one of the biggest purchases of a lifetime. We then said we'll move forward with the price anyway, and when I asked for a VIN number, he responded, saying that, inventory had changed and he preferred to talk on the phone at a later time. We did express that we were very frustrated and upset with the way he was treating us and how sketchy it was that inventory had changed - do you have the car or not? We were hoping that Doug would be apologetic and follow through with our evening call, but he never called or responded to our latest email. We later learned from another salesman that the car we wanted was never in the inventory. I wish that I had the amazing experience that the other people who provided reviews did, but we were very displeased to have been misled with false information and treated with disrespect. More
